The LPGA fumbled the ball today by not covering Lydia Ko’s run at the 2nd ever 59. @GolfweekNichols called them out, rightfully so. And although it still sucks, this is a great response from Chad Coleman, new Chief Marketing officer. No BS, no excuses, just a promise they will try to get better.

Randy Curtis was a man in full: a pioneer and giant in the field of palliative medicine, and a wonderful husband, father and friend. I am so lucky our paths crossed several years ago and I had the opportunity to work with, learn from, and get to know him. May he rest in peace.

This is what a what a professional golf event can be for a community. This is what the LPGA @PortlandClassic has been for 50+ years in Portland. Other golf tournaments have come and gone. It has lasted because it supports Portland and Portlanders have embraced what it stands for
