Dear Mr. @realDonaldTrump The regime in Iran is lying to you and your negotiators (period, stop!). Do not believe a word they say. I know you want to get out of this mess. All Americans want this unnecessary war to end. The remedy is immediate: The President should issue EOs that: • Refuse to pay back the Trump tariffs, grounding the decision in inherent authority. Full expression of Article II is vital to the viability of the Republic; • Reimpose Trump tariffs as he deems necessary; and • Reject any statutory precondition on core Article II functions.

The Framers chose their language with precision. Article I: “herein granted” Articles II & III: “vested” “Vested” means placed irrevocably. No one — not the SG, not the Supreme Court — can breach that firewall from within the Executive Branch.

Tariffs are weapons of asymmetric economic warfare. Result: Trump-era IEEPA tariffs are now being refunded through CBP’s CAPE system while the President’s leverage — including the recent China trip — has been visibly diminished.

That phrase “as it must” is itself a doctrinal error. Both the waiver and the Court’s acceptance were ultra vires. They divested the Executive of its concurrent and parallel Vested Power — the bedrock of the Doctrine of Separation of Vested Powers.
