Yes, it’s the CPC supporters’ fault that Marilyn has no moral convictions. It is Pierre’s fault that Marilyn left, because even though she was parroting and supporting all of his talking points for years, he should have known that she actually hated his opinions, policies, and style of leadership. She didn’t feel “inspired” enough to be “brave” by speaking her mind in the CPC, where a significant number of MPs and constituents are open to her socially conservative views, but now that she is in a party that is openly hostile to 99% of what she believes, NOW she will be so so inspired and brave. Il utilise le pouvoir pour se bâtir une majorité de façon détournée, en débauchant des députés élus sous d’autres bannières. Ce n’est pas illégal. Mais est-ce moral ? Est-ce légitime ? Secondo, Pierre Poilievre représente, à moyen terme, une menace réelle pour les Libéraux. Les résultats de la dernière élection parlent d’eux-mêmes. Les conservateurs ont obtenu leur meilleur score depuis Brian Mulroney. Ils n’ont pas gagné mais ils sont en position de le faire. Le scénario idéal pour les Libéraux, c’est 1) obtenir une majorité par la bande et 2) que @PierrePoilievre disparaisse, soit en quittant par lui-même ou en se faisant tasser de l’intérieur, notamment par les "Red Tories". Dans tous les cas, le citoyen lambda semble être la dernière des priorités dans leurs calculs. C’est leurs intérêts et leur portefeuille qui priment, avant tout. People need to stop focusing on Pierre and turn their attention to the sleaziness of the Liberals and how they attempted to gain a majority. What did Carney offer, behind the scenes, to bring these people over? What kind of morals and integrity does this woman have to abandon her principles? She is classless. She was elected 4 times as a Conservative and suddenly has a vision that the Liberals are better. No way. She was bought somehow. What was she promised? What kind of party accepts an MP like her? The Liberals who will do anything to keep power. She may be happy there but in the next election, her constituents will boot her to the street.
