I feel they never take responsibility, very stubborn and not listen or hear from anybody else, even if these ideas to the crisis are coming from front line NHS staff.

@WelshLabour They have also been historically underfunded and now at risk of collapse financially, unless @WelshGovernment act very quickly and fund GP practices to the level as outlined by @BMACymru for 23/24 which should have been agreed over 11 months ago.

Universities, GPs, social care and charities are already under extreme financial pressures. Labour in Wales just voted against our motion calling for them to be defended against the increase in NI. Only Plaid Cymru stands up for Wales.

GP partners are independent contractors. The contract is with the NHS. We do not have 'customers'. We provide a public service, and do so efficiently. The NICs increase & threshold reduction will reduce funds for services & staffing which will ultimately impact patient care.

The Nat Ins hammer blow to NHS GPs is serious. We are part of the NHS family & cannot increase our charges to cover this rise because…. we don’t charge our patients. Hearing from hundreds of practices now about the tens of thousands of ££ they will lose bma.org.uk/our-campaigns/…
