Victory!! The same thing happened in Alberta regarding mandates last year. The Crown had to drop hundreds of charges. Now the government of Alberta is getting sued by dozens of parties for wrongful arrests and damages. I hope the same thing happens to the federal government. I hope it gets sued for billions. Here in Alberta, Danielle Smith seized the ruling as an opportunity to make sure this never happens again. I'm sure Trudeau will simply see that as an opportunity to fix the clauses so he can re-instate the EA again in the future.

BREAKING: Federal Court of Canada declares that the federal government's invocation of the Emergencies Act was ultra vires (i.e. illegal) and that some of the Emergencies Act orders unjustifiably violated the Charter of Rights. A great day for the rule of law and for Canadians!

He proceeded to violate Charter rights to illegally suppress Canadian citizens. Trudeau must now answer for his reckless abandonment of the law and the most basic freedoms of all Canadians.
