Liberals do not want Canadians to be proud of our country. They want Canadians to inherit guilt for things they had nothing to do with. In a draft citizenship guide, they chose to frame Canada through it’s “shameful” past, instead of teaching the pride, freedom, and opportunity that makes this country worth choosing.

Video from the 504 streetcar last night near King and John. While our feckless leaders give themselves handsome pay raises, law-abiding citizens continue to fend for themselves while deranged individuals in the throes of psychosis roam the streets and transit system with impunity. The person who sent this video said there were two children with their parents on this streetcar who witnessed this man’s obscene behaviour before exiting the streetcar in fear. Olivia Chow would have you believe this man needs harm reduction and housing - but what he (and we) need is involuntary institutionalization. Who will grow a spine and say what needs to be said?!

@jonkay @mindingottawa The US has been grappling with its history of slavery, so Canada has to grapple harder, so that we can be totally distinct and morally superior (even if we have to make up a history of slavery for ourselves).

Despite news-dump claims to the contrary, the B.C. NDP’s planned “land back” and wealth transfer “reconciliation” revolution carries on undiminished, in both fervour and intent. DRIPA’s partial suspension would mean very little. End it entirely, remove the government that cut secret land deals and massively scaled this industrial complex, and then the hard work actually begins.

Various actors are promoting the increasingly common trope that reasoned criticisms of court rulings amount to attacks on the “rule of law” and “judicial independence”. These attempts to weaponize the rule of law against public scrutiny of judicial decisions should be resisted.
