TRUMP JUST TOLD XI "WE DO A LOT OF STUFF TO YOU THAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT." HERE'S WHAT COMES NEXT, STEP BY STEP: WHAT HAPPENS NOW THAT A SITTING U.S. PRESIDENT ADMITTED MUTUAL ESPIONAGE TO XI JINPING'S FACE? Here's what comes next, step by step: 🔴 Step 1 — The diplomatic fiction collapses in real time For 30 years, every U.S. president denied, deflected, or stayed silent on offensive cyber operations against China. Trump just ended that on Air Force One in a single sentence. Xi now has a public American admission he can use forever. 🔴 Step 2 — Xi's negotiating posture shifts Xi came into the summit with "cooperation benefits both sides." Trump countered with "we spy like hell on them too." The two men are no longer pretending they're not at war in the digital space. That changes every future conversation about AI theft, sanctions, and Taiwan. 🔴 Step 3 — The "stuff you don't know about" line is the real move "We do a lot of stuff to you that you don't know about" is not a boast. It's a ceiling-setter. It tells Beijing: whatever you've caught us doing is the floor, not the maximum. That resets Chinese threat modeling overnight. 🔴 Step 4 — If Beijing does NOT escalate Trump walks away having established reciprocal deterrence without firing a shot. The admission becomes leverage — proof that the U.S. doesn't need to hide its capabilities to negotiate. Every future trade or cyber demand lands with new weight behind it. 🔴 Step 5 — If Beijing DOES escalate China uses the public admission to justify its own offensive operations to the international community. "The U.S. president admitted it himself" becomes the headline in every state media outlet. The U.S. loses the moral high ground it spent decades carefully protecting. 🔴 Step 6 — The pattern matters more than the quote 2017 — MOAB strike after 14 years of predecessors deferring. 2018 — Jerusalem embassy after Clinton, Bush, and Obama all signed waivers. 2019 — Singapore summit with Kim after 65 years of no direct talks. 2026 — Admitted mutual espionage to Xi's face instead of maintaining the polite fiction. Every one of these was a file previous presidents had and didn't open. 🔴 Step 7 — The next summit is now fundamentally different Trump requested a full China cyber briefing on Day 2 of his second term. He's been sitting on that file for months. "We do a lot of stuff to you that you don't know about" suggests he's already used some of it. The question is not whether the next meeting gets harder. The question is how far. Are you positioned for what comes next? I'll share more updates shortly, turn on notifications before it's too late.

@Alexlikesittoo California's reservoirs and snowpack in 2024 were in excess of 110% of normal. And 2025 has expereinced record rain and snowfall. What are we talking about here?

@atrupar The visit to the ME was a counter to Putin, Xi and the wondering, hapless European states. It was a show of influence, economic power and statecraft.

Chris Murphy: "Why did Trump choose these 3 countries to go for his first major foreign trip? It's not because these are our most important allies or the most important countries in the world. It's because these are the 3 countries willing to pay him off ... this is the definition of corruption."

Apparently, @PressSec @karolineleavitt thinks it's "a hostile and political act by Amazon" for them to display the before tariff prices next to current tariff prices on some of their products. They don't want the American people to know just how costly Trump's tariffs are. 👇👇

@texasrunnerDFW Funny, I'm shopping for my post retirement home in different states and cities. Plenty of places $1M gets you a luxury home on a large lot.

@lpolgreen Bezos does not know the amount of tariffs in the products he sells. And unless the supplier keeps meticulous inventory records, he doesn't know either. Since tariffs have just started, The amount of tariffs paid for items in inventory is zero at this time.

It will be telling if Bezos defies Trump here because it conflicts with his core business interests. He has been willing to make small ball (for him) gestures like buying the rights to Melania Trump's memoir as cost of doing business, but this is different, I suspect.
Sam Stein@samstein

"a hostile and political act by Amazon" -- @PressSec says of the company listing the price tariffs will add to goods. Says the company has partnered with a Chinese propaganda arm, while showing a picture of Bezos. Won't elaborate on the Trump-Bezos relations.

@DominicJPino Trump believes our domestic market should be as open as our trading partner's domestic markets. American jobs first, not last.

This is the current situation of American ports - they are basically empty! Trump has finally got what he wanted. The trade war has left him with no goods. Let him keep making empty promises!

@itsKroovy @EspirituLibre76 @NewsWire_US Looking at the ship tracking apps I've seen traffic go down by about 80% into Cali ports. Many ships are just not even coming here anymore. I think he sees empty and takes it as literal when it's usually pretty full of ships. Here it is right now, and here's how China looks.
