If you get hit by it and refuse to give them any ID or face scans as you should, here's a way to just... bypass it.
Go to Settings - Family Centre and then just enter a date of birth that's 18+
It's really that simple. Give them nothing.

This post does not address:
- Who the partners are that handle your data.
- Whether those partners may or may not store your data.
- How this rollout will differ from the rollout last year that resulted in a 1.5tb, 2 million ID leak.
- What they plan to do with the data they collect, that they are lying to your face about saying they dont, see above bullet.
- They say this is "for protecting the kids" and ignore the fact that this will explicitly point out who the kids are and where they are, allowing easier and faster access to children for predators, and since the system defaults to the teen experience on account creation, predators will have an all access pass to children and teens to groom. They do not address this point at all.
- They have not spoken on what the AI does with the data it collects and the biometric and habitual profile it builds on you after it is done checking your age.
- They have not stated what their partners do with the data from the above point.
- They have also not stated or detailed any steps they are taking to ensure that those who intend to abuse this system to gain access to minors are detected and punished.
- Also not stated is whether or not the AI built to create a biometric portfolio on you will STOP listening after it has done so, meaning from implementation on every keystroke you send to discord is likely being tracked and audited by third parties with no regulations.
Do not give them your info. They are going to sell your biometric profiles for billions to inflate their IPO and when regulations or new laws are passed to invoke hate speech through your private discord messages they are going to begin using them against you whenever you voice opposition to them.
