From catching to transporting then surgery, food, transport again it is back breaking work and they do it everyday for free. They get hurt all the time. #FakeNews We have personally validated it and it’s a 100% fake news. Where are the proofs??? Where is cctv footage??? If at all there were any bites, were they provocative??? How is the behaviour of people living there with the dogs??? What have the authorities done till now for ABC Programme there??? How many ABC Centres are there and what is the government doing to increase the pace of ABC there??? Etc etc etc Moreover, the whole dog bite counting process is #Corrupt & #False as its basis the number of anti rabies vaccines sold and not actual bites from street dogs. 5 injections (given for 1 animal bite) are counted as 5 different bites. Bites / scratches from pet dogs (which accounts for around 70% of total bites) are also blamed on street dogs & counted as street dogs bites. Bites from cats, monkeys, mice, rodents etc are all being counted as street dogs bites bites. Means everything is blamed only and only on street dogs who can’t even defend themselves. Simply blaming the voiceless is totally wrong and unacceptable. This shows the kind #FakePropaganda & #FalseNews our media houses like @aajtak are spreading.

I live in a Punjabi area in Delhi, Stray dogs are loved here. Every street has bowls of water and food, rugs and cushion. Owners let their pets play with them. I have never seen any dog attacks here. Take away rabid dogs but for others try a more thoughtful approach, may help.
