@Kon__K is launching a 7-day “Together Against Racism” appeal, preaching “together we are stronger”. Yet you regularly attack everyday Australians who support One Nation & Pauline Hanson — branding them racists, bigots, haters of the working class, and scapegoaters who divide Australia. You can’t fight racism by being racist towards your own countrymen and sowing division at every turn. This is peak hypocrisy. #AusPol #Hypocrisy

something dangerous is happening in Australia. Racism is rising. But we don’t have to accept it. We’ve launched a 7-day critical appeal to build a national plan to combat racism. Watch the video to hear our plan. And donate now to be part of it: donate.asrc.org.au/together-again…

Woodside & Santos are making massive profits exporting OUR oil & gas overseas, while everyday Aussies struggle with soaring petrol, diesel, gas & electricity bills. Our finite resources deserve better: fix the broken PRRT & get a fair return via tax reform (e.g. 25% gas export tax). Why common sense? Key benefits putting Australians FIRST: • Fair revenue from our resources instead of near-zero PRRT • Lower fuel/energy bills funded by windfall/export profits • Real cost-of-living relief for families & businesses • Stronger energy security with more gas reserved domestically • Extra funds for renewables, health & education—not just foreign shareholders Time to put Australians FIRST! #AusPol #GasTax #CostOfLiving

Spot on @Mon4Kooyong & @DavidPocock! Woodside & Santos rake in massive profits exporting OUR oil & gas, while Aussies struggle with sky-high petrol, gas, diesel & power bills. Time to fix broken tax settings (PRRT fails us) & get a fair return on finite resources. Why common sense? Key benefits putting Australians FIRST: • Fair revenue from our resources instead of near-zero PRRT • Lower fuel/energy bills via windfall/25% export tax funds • Cheaper cost-of-living relief for families & businesses • Better energy security with more domestic gas reserved for Aussies.

I asked the Treasurer for this in Question Time last week. Woodside and Santos are set to make massive profits from our oil and gas internationally, while Australians are struggling to afford petrol, gas, diesel, and electricity. We have to immediately change our tax settings to support Australians and get a fair return on our finite national resources. abc.net.au/news/2026-03-2…

🚨 BREAKING: Labor and The Greens wants to BAN One Nation, the Nationals & Liberals! They’re plotting to outlaw conservative parties, silence farmers & Pauline forever! 😱 …or is that the same dramatic BS as claiming ON & LNP ‘want to ban’ all renewables? Opposition ≠ ban. Show the actual policy/bill or it’s just vibes & fear-mongering. Evidence, please! 🔥 #BanRhetoric #Hypocrisy

@Kon__K@kon_k You directly helped make this happen. You were one of the biggest cheerleaders driving people to Pauline Hanson and One Nation with your endless attacks, more Aussies are listening to her now! Apparently a future post by someone called Albo. 😉 #AusPol

Yes — after US/Israeli strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities (Operation Midnight Hammer), Hanson praised Trump’s action, called it “fantastic”, backed destroying Iran’s nuclear program for global security, and slammed Albanese as weak. One Nation statement, June 2025. No — she was not “the biggest supporter of the Iranian war Trump embarked on”. She’s an Australian Senator with zero influence on US decisions. The limited 2025 strikes later escalated in Feb 2026. Vocal support ≠ starting a war. Happy to be corrected — post the exact article. #AusPol

Watching Pauline #Hanson complaining about interest rate rises & inflation after being the biggest political cheerleader and supporter of this illegal war by USA and Israel in Iran that caused the interest rate rises yesterday and risks inflation passing 5% truly takes the cake.

Singapore links ministers’ pay to real outcomes — and it works. Entry-level ministers: ~S$1.1m annual benchmark (fixed 65% + variable 35%). The variable chunk (National Bonus + Performance Bonus) ties directly to: • Real GDP growth • Median income growth • Lowest 20% income growth • Unemployment rate Bad year (slow growth, job losses)? Ministers take big pay cuts. Strong outcomes? Bonuses flow. Aligns incentives with what citizens actually experience. Australia could learn. #AusPol Other common-sense ideas to make Aussie politicians pay match delivery: 1. 20-35% “at-risk” salary: Bonus for real wage growth, lower unemployment, productivity up; penalty for inflation spikes or debt blowouts. 2. Broken-promise clawback: Independent tracker scores major pledges — miss >30%? Dock 5-10% pay + super delay. 3. Economic KPI dashboard: Tie pay to voter-pain metrics (housing approvals, cost-of-living index, migration caps met). 4. Pension penalty: Break core promises (e.g. “no tax hikes”)? Reduced parliamentary pension. Singapore proves it attracts talent without endless waste. Why not here? Bonus idea: Savings-sharing — ministers get a slice of real spending cuts (NDIS contained, public sector trimmed) as performance pay. Voters deserve politicians whose wallets feel the same pain/success as ours. Time for real accountability. What do you think — worth campaigning for? 🇦🇺 #PerformancePay #EndPork

We're not immune from global instability but we’re confronting these challenges from a position of genuine relative economic strength - with faster growth, stronger jobs growth and lower debt than every major advanced economy.

Chalmers loves relative strength spin amid global risks (wars, inflation). But warning of downgrades, rising unemployment, productivity stall, and hidden state debt blowouts undercuts the “genuine strength” boast. Australians feel the cost-of-living squeeze — not abstract rankings. Transparency over triumphalism, Jim. @BugsyPeter @Mon4Kooyong Old news. Labor used this at the last election and all it’s done is probably convince many of us that he’s a better investor than Albanese who only has 3 or 4 properties.

In 2018 Josh Frydenberg and Mathias Cormann came up with a massively flawed GST plan which advantaged WA by billions, while selling the other states and territories short. Effective tax reform in Australia has to include redistribution of the GST. theage.com.au/politics/feder…

@TheJawnzz @Mon4Kooyong Hey mate, you would have already paid the $4000 on the $45000 you have already earned. It’s not something you have to pay once you reach $45,000. Each dollar over $45000 you will be taxed 30c on. So if you have earned $45001, your total tax would have been $4000.30c.

Can I ask why, when I earn over 45,000, I don’t just start to pay 30c on the dollar, I also have to pay over $4000? This kind of ridiculous tax scheme incentivises working Australians to cut their hours so they remain in the lower tax bracket. My wife and I are about to do this. Live off $90,000 p.a combined. I will literally do anything to ensure that this government receives less of my tax dollars.

Albanese promised $200m federal cash for Perth’s St John of God Midland Hospital upgrade — right in the middle of the 2025 election campaign. Classic pork-barrelling: using taxpayer money to buy Labor votes in key WA seats. States’ responsibility? Only when it suits. #AusPol #PorkBarrel

@Mon4Kooyong For sure. But @AlboMP gave a hospital in Perth $400m last year, whilst telling the rest of Australia that Hospitals are "State issues". The richest State in the country gets a HUGE handout. Albury/Wodonga needs a new Hospital - services a HUGE area & population. Nada.

@1louisestewart @Mon4Kooyong You probably should read up on the actual facts before allowing yourself to assume WA were being favoured in 2018. WA have 11% of the population and still only get 9% of the GST pool. They were getting 4% of the GST pool for many years before the 2018 adjustment.

@Mon4Kooyong These men drunk on power simply bend to the will of Kerry Stokes every time. They were elected to act in the best interests of ALL Australia’s not just billionaires who have a monopoly media ownership in WA and use it to control politicians and policy.

@Mon4Kooyong moans WA gets ‘billions extra’ GST via 2018 floor — but WA’s 11% of Australia’s population gets ~9.1% of the pool ($9.3B in 2026-27). That’s close to fair per resident — yet way more than old needs-based rules would’ve given (only ~$2.7B). Stop the selfish Victorian whinge: celebrate federation success instead of punishing WA’s mining success. Be inclusive, not parochial. #GST #AusPol

Jim Chalmers’ budget thread today: “savings package, productivity package, tax package.” Sounds ambitious… until you notice what he left out: fixing power prices, rebuilding cohesion, real cuts to migration/NDIS/public waste, private jobs, and housing red tape. Here are 7 practical strategies that would actually work: 1. Power: Fast-track nuclear SMRs + new gas baseload plants.
Achieves: Reliable 24/7 energy, slashes household bills 25-40%, ends blackouts and subsidies for wind/solar roulette. 2. Social cohesion: Cap net migration at 200k/year for 3 years + mandatory integration.
Achieves: Eases pressure on housing/services, lifts Scanlon cohesion scores from 16-year lows. 3. Migration savings: Skills-only permanent visas; axe student visa rorts.
Achieves: Saves $10B+ on infrastructure/welfare, stops record highs. 4. NDIS: Independent assessments + AI fraud crackdown + means-testing for high earners. Achieves: Halves the $50B+ blowout, protects genuine recipients, frees billions. 5. Public sector: 10% headcount reduction via attrition + hiring freeze on non-frontline + contractor cap.
Achieves: Real $5B+ annual savings without touching nurses/teachers. 6. Private jobs: Cut payroll tax 50% for small business + slash business red tape 30%.
Achieves: Shifts growth from public sector padding to genuine private hiring boom. 7. Housing: 90-day approval limit + fast-track prefab/modular builds + cut planning red tape. Achieves: Drops construction costs 20-30%, delivers the 1.2m homes target on time instead of failing. Chalmers wants “ambitious reform”? These are the real ones. What’s missing from his thread says it all. Your move, Jim. #AusPol #Budget2026 @JEChalmers
