The interngenerational 'stresses' that Jim Chalmers speaks of were not 'created' by the success of older Australians. They are a direct result of the policy failures and overspending of the current government. Taxing the old and removing the incentive for young people to invest in homes and shares doesn't do a damn thing to help young people. This is a TAX GRAB and an economic glass ceiling from a desperate Treasurer who won't stop spending YOUR money.

Entitlement ❌ particularly in the face of our frontline forces. This is the behaviour we need to weed out of Australian society 🇦🇺 Leadership is a service to people - a Responsibility ✅ not this @DavidShoebridge #Shame

Greens Senator David Shoebridge complains that he got drug tested while driving to a weed festival. Abuses front line cops, “DON’T YOU KNOW I’M A SENATOR??” The arrogance is unreal.

RBA. Rate rises expected tomorrow. Australia’s property market: ~31% renters, ~35% with mortgages, ~32% own outright. Rate rises hit renters + mortgaged homeowners hardest. Mortgage stress is already 26.8% (1.45 million households) and would jump to 30.9% (1.67 million) with another 0.5% hike. These families stopped discretionary spending ages ago after 14 rate rises under Labor. Renters face extra pressure too – rents already eat ~33%+ of income in a 1–1.6% vacancy market, and higher rates push landlords’ costs onto tenants. Meanwhile, positively-geared landlords end up with more cash flow after tax and keep spending. The groups being squeezed have already tightened belts – further hikes do little to curb overall demand now. Government spending remains high with ongoing deficits and no real curb in sight – they’re deflecting the heavy lifting onto the RBA. Monetary policy can’t fix everything when fiscal policy keeps adding fuel. Time for Canberra to step up. #RBA #CostOfLiving #HousingCrisis

I made the news! Turns out in Victoria, you can walk around a train carriage dual wielding knives, terrify other passengers, evacuate an entire carriage, delay the train for 30 minutes and you won’t even get a fine. - I guess I shouldn’t have intervened at all and let the guy do whatever he likes hey @JacintaAllanMP ?

Rajwinder Singh, a married 41 year old Indian National, was found guilty of the murder of Toyah Cordingley at Wangetti Beach, north of Cairns, Australia. Singh, 41, stabbed Ms Cordingley repeatedly and cut her throat at the secluded beach, where she had gone to walk her dog. Singh fled to India the next day. He was finally arrested three weeks after a record $1 million reward was posted for information leading to his arrest. Singh claimed to have witnessed “masked killers” on the beach before fleeing the country in fear they would kill him too. He was found guilty and sentenced to 25 years to life. In sentencing, Justice Crowley branded Singh a "gutless coward" Diversity is our strength.

Pay for slay. The Australian Government has donated in excess of $230 million to Palestine and rewarded them with recognition since the October 7th massacre. They’ve given $51.6 million to them since the Bondi Beach shootings in December of last year . Does this make you proud @AlboMP ?

Cost of living indicators show CPI inflation rose to 4.6% in the 12 months to March 2026 (from 3.7% previously), with electricity up 25.4% and automotive fuel up 24.2% This directly contradicts what Anthony Albanese is saying in this video.

Toyah Cordingley's body was discovered on an isolated beach in Cairns. Indian nurse Rajwinder Singh was finally found guilty of her murder a few months ago. Singh, 41, stabbed Cordingley & slashed her throat at a Far North Queensland beach in 2018 before fleeing to India, spending years in hiding. Cordingley, 24, was discovered by her loving father half-buried in sand dunes at Wangetti Beach, north of Cairns, a day after she failed to return from walking her dog. How many girls & women are YOU willing to sacrifice for diversity & multiculturalism? How many have to die? Your daughters, sisters, wives & mothers are NOT safe. PROTECT WHITE GIRLS & WOMEN. REMIGRATION NOW ✈️

Courts in Australia are giving these people reduced sentences because “in their culture it’s normalised”. Worse, in places like VIC, judges are intentionally giving sentences under 12 months to avoid triggering deportation. Labor are destroying Australia

@RobynAMilne @DaveTaylorNews This is true. Left no wiggle room. But the banks are to blame too for not passing the rate cuts on in full which the RBA should have had the teeth to enforce.

@GavinBrx @DaveTaylorNews The RBA under its previous governor is to blame for much of where borrowers now find themselves. The RBA left interest rates at virtually zero for way too long and inflation soared. Reputable economists agree on that.

The RBA will raise the cash rate on Tuesday. It will be the right call. Inflation is too high. It will also achieve very little because it’s not mortgage borrowers driving inflation higher. The stupidity of this hits me every time the RBA meets.

@GavinBrx @Katherine_deves I was fortunate. Started on the ground floor in 1973 with punch cards and paper tape! Married the Punch Room supervisor in 1979. We are still together. I retired after spending 41 years in my second career. Needless to say I have no vision on how Govt can save without impact.

Albanese A man who has been on the government payroll his entire life Almost no real world experience Only lived in Sydney’s Inner West, never lived overseas, never done substantive travelling until he became PM and now it’s on the taxpayers he’s off on a jolly every time we turn around He held one job for five minutes in the private sector in 1980 and is otherwise a professional politician Never run a business, employed someone or had to navigate the tax system in private sector No wonder our country is in so much trouble The man running it has no idea #australiafirst
