@Portergauge I think what is being said is that under Anasterian, those elves felt they would ultimately be able to go home. Kael was the moment that things came to a head and caused the schism.

Okay I need to explain this fully so people get my issue lol The fracturing of Quel'thalas did not begin the day that Kael'thas renamed them blood elves or introduced mana tapping, it was fracturing long before WC3 -- thanks to Anasterian.
Portergauge 🏳️‍🌈@Portergauge

I... this might be the most fundamental misunderstanding not only of the modern high elves, but the entire story of Quel'thalas in general. I legit need to make a whole thread about this once I'm done here lol

@CT_Phipps @straczynski My reading now is that the Centauri colonised a world close to Narn with Narn slaves and then after the Narn broke away, the Centauri expelled them and resettled it with Centauri.

@GavinLafferty @straczynski I mean the Centauri have a bunch of horeshit in their claims. It could also be as simple as the Narn colonized it first...a few decades ago. Only the Mimbari have millennia of time in space.

@straczynski Ok here is an extremely nerdy question B5 related question but one that has bothered me for three decades. IF the Centauri 'brought the Narn to the stars', how could the Narn have colonised Ragesh 3 first and have a superior claim?

@straczynski Thank you for responding and that's what I imagined the answer to be. That's one mental itch scratched!

1) People with a history of slavery often try to justify their past by suggesting they improved the lives of their victims; 2) never take Centauri propaganda at face value; 3) the sentence in question omits two essential words: "...in chains."

@TaliesinEvitel I think this is Taliesin's fault. He was begging Blizz for a shit-show on the weekly reset, and they've clearly delivered.

These do definitely look like shop assets (which would be terrible imo) but something weird... there are too many. One for EVERY 50 Tender value between 250-1000 doesn't really make sense on the store, does it?

@MrGMYT Let me respond with a question of my own; do you think they want my money again next expansion? Because if the answer to yours is no, then the answer to mine maybe no as well.

Do you think we'll see Tier Sets again in 10.0?

@Levighast Over 20 years of experience in multiple MMOs now. Badge system with weekly cap and targeted loot is best model

I really hope they reconsider the implementation of the Great Vault for 10.0. I've been doing some research into player motivation 👀 and I think this "work all week to get a reward that's statistically likely to be a bad experience" system is ultimately harmful.
Wowhead💙@Wowhead

Tier Sets have started to drop from the Great Vault on the 9.2 PTR and we've opened 200 Great Vaults to estimate the Drop Chance of tier pieces showing up in the Great Vault! #Shadowlands #Warcraft wowhead.com/news/tier-sets…

@BellularGaming @IcyTheArchmage @Levighast Undestandable but in my eyes we are always playing as Warrior of Light we see in cinematics. That's why I even made my Hyur looks like him and Im role playing as him. I never felt like I needed to put my character in that place and the Warrior of Light in canon is Zenos mirror.

Endwalker complete! What a ride. As @Levighast said, the ending was risky. Didn’t really pay off for me, but I loved the journey nonetheless. Obvs can’t elaborate in a spoiler way beyond saying it’s the bit after trial 3.

@straczynski Thank you for putting the effort and telling those stories. Even as a four year old, I recognised that the quality tales told by the Real Ghostbusters were more interesting than most other kid's stuff at the same time. Sometimes I still think about them, 35 years later.

Thanks...it was fun and the first show where I had the clout tell stories as I wanted to tell them, and fight for my writers. (DIC wanted to use gang credits, putting all the writers on one card so you couldn't tell who wrote what; I got them individual credits and better money).
Nigel Cox@bobafettishWoW

@straczynski so my roommate found a DVD set for old "The Real Ghostbusters" cartoon. Was surprised watching some of them to see your name as a writer. Good stuff and never new you did some of the episodes till now

I hate to be *that guy* and obviously this is my opinion, but I really feel “Chapter 1” of the Warcraft saga ended in 7.3 with the ending of the Antorus Raid and the best WoW cinematic ever made

@SteveDanuser I get you mean well, but quoting a line that almost single handedly conveys the disconnect between what for many WoW is and a deep dive into a cosmology many struggle to care about is worrisome. I feel trepidation rather than excitement in advance of the preview.

@TaliesinEvitel @AlexLinux I think they should bring back Justice Points, have it used to buy catch-up gear, catch up gear upgrades, toys, mounts, recolours etc and have timewalking dungeons be one source of earning it (maybe a valor reward for doing 4 or 5?). And have 2 TW sets a week, more variety.

@CellaH26 @duponline He's a right comedian Jim is. Wonder what funny observations he'll have on election night next year as the party he devoted his life to is decimated.

"You've ruined your own lands, you'll not ruin mine!" remains one of the most profound and prescient NPC lines ever written in gaming.
