@ojasGambheera0 @Rainmaker1973 The cells added in the fall are narrower than the ones in the spring and summer allowing distinction of one year from the next. Depending on humidity of a given season, the number and diameters of added cells vary creating signature patterns - facilitating dendrochronology.
