@TheCaptainEli @Tesla Wonder if putting the back screen in screen clean mode would do the trick
English

Very small feedback for Tesla:
I’ve been living in my Tesla for two weeks now, and every single day I fall in love with the car and the company all over again.
The technology and the level of control through the app are simply unmatched — no other company in the world offers anything close to this. If I had to choose again, I’d pick the Model Y over and over and over.
That said, here’s some quick feedback:
It would be amazing if we could completely turn off the rear screen, not just lock it. Even when locked, it still generates heat, and I often have to put a towel over the center armrest when I’m working from the car.
The climate preservation modes (Camp, Keep, etc.) are fantastic features, but it would be really useful if we could choose between automatic and manual operation ourselves — and have the car remember our preference. Being able to adjust the fan directly through the app would make it even better.
One more small thing regarding driver seat memory:
In Camp mode, most of us move the seats forward to inflate the mattress (we even create a dedicated driver profile named “Camp” to make seat adjustment easier). However, opening the driver’s door sometimes triggers the Easy Entry memory setting (when it’s enabled), which automatically slides the seats back and requires manual readjustment. It would be great if this could be smarter in Camp mode.

@GeneralCustard0 @Pipeline_papi Times are definitely changing haha. Alas, the battle continues
English

@LindySalesGuy @Pipeline_papi For sure. Not saying it’s not worth it, just been getting the ooo’s and not seeing the good stuff
English

@GeneralCustard0 @Pipeline_papi Not everyone, but it definitely ain't like it used to be.
Respect the game, playa

I'm obsessed with @uniqlo ever since my luggage got lost in a trip to Tokyo and i had to buy a completely new wardrobe
Amazing basics across their airism and heattech lines, the former great for hot Austin Summer, the latter great for lake Tahoe winters
Fabric technology is just insane!

@KMaherNews12 Why the masters / photos from the tournament hit so hard
English

The most amazing thing about this photo in this day & age is that only two people are on their phones. Everyone is else is soaking it in with their eyeballs. Great job fans! Great job!

The overall disinterest on is so interesting.
I’m admittedly a techno optimist, but when you think about it, all of the cool moments in AI has been at the enterprise level, and the consumer has been neglected.
Sentiment on billionaires is down —> billionaires naturally associated with data centers.
Energy costs 🆙 yet we need much, much more. Fascinating moment to be alive

@MmintyFressh @Return_Of_RB @travisakers Lol totally fair. I think it was something about waking up early in the morning, feeling super tired trying to fight through that made it more special
English

@GeneralCustard0 @Return_Of_RB @travisakers But couldnt he drive you to the feild at 10am and still play music? And the same moments still exists
English

@Return_Of_RB @travisakers Great take, Bosco. Pops use to get me to the field before everyone and would just play bangers in the car to get fired up.
Moments I’ll never forget
English

@travisakers Ok you holy roller loser.
Have your dad take you to a Baseball or football field at 8am on a Saturday and tell me 30 years later you still remember the drives and times with him vividly - that’s sports.
Fucking moron

@thinkwithmark Sucker for a great consumer product and I love this. Might be time to ditch the audio book

I really like @RobinhoodApp. Think like every startup it’s had its ups and downs, and people consistently giving them issue for “gamifying” investing.
I started right after Covid. Me and 13 buds as seniors in college with nothing to do, started buying equities and btc. I was able to stay disciplined and continued to dca but unfortunately some of my buds weren’t, and got involved with leverage… you know how that went.
Fast forward to now -> became obsessed with btc for years but now I am back in the equity game.
Robinhood should absolutely not have content like this inside of my portfolio. With a quarter of your users being 27 and under, this is not the content you should be surfacing, ever. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen an article of someone dca’ing for 5 years and how much their portfolio has grown. It’s always get rich quick schemes.
IMO not a great look for the brand.

@DanteTheDon You’ve legitimately said it yourself that foreign adversaries like China do whatever they want, so don’t think you it’s smart for the US to compete? Could you imagine a world where China dominates AI and obliterates our capabilities from a military perspective

Mr. Wonderful sucks. He sucked on shark tank. He sucked in Marty Supreme. And he sucks even more as a person in real life. These data centers offer zero upside to ANYBODY other than the billionaires building them. Drain on society, devastate the environment, and help kill jobs. All so the filthy rich can become even filthier
Anonymous@YourAnonNews
Shark Tank Billionaire Kevin O'leary says 2 people fighting data centers in Utah are Chinese agents. Turns out its just 2 local girls in Utah, they make a hilarious video calling him the fuck out

What vehicle are you daily driving? I’m coming from a basic Honda HRV to a MYAWD, and I think the simplicity of the vehicle is beautiful.
A majority of the buttons on the infotainment system were never interacted with or utilized. I step into the car, my podcast continues seamlessly from where I left off, and I go.

@charlesmurray I drove a rental EV during a trip to California a couple years ago and used it for 100-mi round trips to and from San Diego for personal business. I found it a soulless box with a large annoying screen staring at me to show the battery depleting. No thanks.
English

Analogous to one of the minor virtues of a Tesla: You never turn the car on or off. Just get in, drive off; return, get out and walk away. Seems like a small difference (just saves you from having to push a button twice). But after a few weeks when you are driving an ordinary car, you suddenly discover that having to turn the car on and off is a pain in the ass.

Wow. Huge respect. WiFi portals are some of the most annoying things. Starlink would rather give up significant revenue than allow an airline to burden flight customers with portals.

@ItsGiantsSzn LETS JUST WIN 8 GAMES
but yes, toxicity will be at ath’s if we win 11 or 12

If the Giants have 12 wins…
I would be beyond toxic

@RooktoRep Agreed. Really love remote but do see the value of being in office and connecting with colleagues on a deeper level.
In an area where there’s no job market for tech, so not much I can do but certainly have slight concerns about long term remote role availability
English

I used to work a fully in-person job and now I’m basically 100% remote.
Not going to lie, I do miss some of the in-office stuff.
Just shooting the shit with coworkers about random things. Really getting to know ppl.
That’s one thing remote work definitely can’t replicate.
However, I’m still choosing remote work 90 out of 100 times…

52 is an awesome number for Arvell Reese. That’s an elite linebacker number.
