🎊Big problems require bold ideas and even greater collaboration. 🎉 We were privileged to host and partner with 15 Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and Women's Rights Organizations (WROs) from Nairobi, Mombasa, Kilifi, Nyeri, and Meru Counties to strengthen our collective efforts in responding to and preventing gender-based violence at the community level. Ambitious? Yes. But not impossible. In the next three years, we will work with young women (18-35 years) who are survivors and at risk of gender-based violence in these five counties. Collectively, we aim to restore dignity by providing legal and counseling services, and enhancing access to affordable financial services, products, and skilling opportunities. Strengthening Partnerships to End Malaria The Ministry of Health,the End Malaria Council Kenya, African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA), and SC Johnson held a strategic meeting to advance efforts in malaria elimination. The discussions focused on leveraging local resources and innovations to enhance malaria prevention, including increased access to insecticide-treated nets, indoor residual spraying, and novel vector control solutions. The organisations reaffirmed commitment to collaboration to end Malaria malaria through investments in prevention, research, and community health initiatives.
