I would like to hear @IntersectMBO response to these allegations. If they prove to be true, it would represent a serious breach of the community's trust. For now, I've changed my votes on both Intersect proposals from Yes to Abstain. Going forward, unless Intersect provides a clear and transparent response to concerns like these, I won't be inclined to support its proposals with a Yes vote.

Just a reminder as @IntersectMBO elections are approaching; that our budget committee is ran by @radioastro; Lloyd Duhon, and we have some serious problems as an ecosystem from his leadership. Below are just a few examples of expenses he has approved that are directly corrupt: MelloD Designs, a media company listed within Intersect MBO as a media contractor has been shown to have received 2 payouts in the sums of $175,000 USD and 106,000 $ADA for video content creation listed as ‘GM Cardano’ videos. I have found the GM Cardano YouTube channel and am disappointed in both the quality, duration, and outcomes of these videos; especially at this exuberant cost. 4,359 views all time on the channel we as a community spent 300+ thousand US Dollars on… So of course, that got me wondering; why would we be seeing funds like this approved, let alone to an unknown content team/company. So I kept digging. 🪏 What I found is direct evidence to theories spouted for years of family ties and married couples looting catalyst as a team: - MelloD Designs is a company owned and operated by our committee lead Lloyd Duhon’s WIFE 🗣️ Melanie Duhon is the founder and CEO of MelloD Designs, the same company her husband approved ~$300,000 in funding for some basic YouTube videos. This is a serious concern and I am positive there are many more Intersect budget expenses that have been decided in similar fashion. We need to hold them accountable for this waste and these decisions. The community needs answers. Do not just take me at my word; below I will attach relevant screenshots and links for you to gather your own information and cross check my findings. Vote Lloyd out. 🗳️ Links 🔗 Intersect CDH 2024 Grants pt 1 ($175,000 USD) docs.intersectmbo.org/intersect-know… Intersect CDH 2024 grants pt 2 (106,000 $ADA) docs.intersectmbo.org/intersect-know… MelloD Designs LinkedIn linkedin.com/company/mellod… GM Cardano YouTube Channel (Root Product for Expenses) @gmcardano?si=QmrXvo6Vc6Y8D4AY" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@gmcardano?si=… And finally screen shots

Most of us with half a brain understand that the Secondfi hack and the more recent WanChain $NIGHT hack isn't a hack on the Night chain or the Cardano chain at the protocol level. But, that doesn't make victims feel really excited about rebuying their entire portfolio. Most of them will leave saying crypto is a scam and Cardano sucks. They are understandably angry. What we need to do is re-audit all the bridge contracts especially the old ones. White hat hack em using AI. Rewrite the code if necessary. Don't wait for another hack. And start delegating to Dreps that are technically sound like @ItsDave_ADA . He gave warnings. Some Dreps are just Cardano cheerleaders with not much of any technical awareness. Even if they abstain they may be unintentionally hurting Cardano. We need these people as valuable community leaders with a voice, but maybe not as a Drep. PS, governance is hard. Losing money combined with a perceived notion that Cardano contracts or wallet security is weak, IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. It is/was one of the few advantages we had over other chains.

UPDATE CARDANO TRANSACTIONS SURGE 4,457% IN 2026 😱😱😱 According to @everstake_pool , Cardano's daily transaction count has increased by an impressive 4,457% since the beginning of the year. The staking provider says the network is consistently sustaining much higher transaction levels, suggesting that real on-chain activity and network usage continue to strengthen.

After doing more digging, I think Cardano can learn a lot from Solana. Solana has gotten several things very right. They've aggressively funded commercialization, recognizing that public goods are needed but that companies bring users. They keep their marketing, and all messaging high-level. They don't lead with "infra" based messaging, they lead with "here's what you can do with it". They created a fantastic founder culture. Where on Cardano we often lead with governance discussions, Solana created a culture that aggressively celebrates founders and what they're building. They market product launches well. They don't treat builders like applicants. Builders are customers and need to be treated accordingly. I think we are starting to move in the right direction and I think more people are understanding what we've gotten wrong. • We need a separate funding pipeline for commercial • We need a coherent commercialization strategy • We need to start treating builders better • We need to do a better job at marketing specific Cardano products and launches • We need to focus more on the areas with traction today Too many of Cardano's biggest narratives aren't narratives that drive or translate to onchain activity. Other ecosystems aggressively back products that people are already using and we have to realize that technology alone cannot create adoption.

This 1M 'liquidity' is just a hired hedging bot, not REAL TVL. It'll front-runs users, extract spreads, give SLP stakers zero yield, and can unplug in seconds. Team gets fake volume; retail gets worse fills. This isn't institutional validation..it's just a vanity metrics boost.😂

I believe many of the currently active treasury withdrawals will fail. This isn't a failure of the DReps, but a failure of the funding allocation process. The current "race to the NCL" approach is highly ineffective. DReps reviewing proposals on a case-by-case basis does not meaningfully push Cardano forward. Now is the time to pivot to a more strategic approach of allocating treasury funding. I would start by defining spending categories and allocating mandates and limits for those.

Threatening to shut down the project if it does not receive Treasury funding is not a good strategy. Obtaining funding from public sources should always be a dialogue between the team and the DReps. This dialogue takes place largely on-chain, not off-chain. DReps should primarily work with the information that is in the proposals. I'm not a fan of off-chain debates, as there is no on-chain record and the information may not reach all DReps. It creates information asymmetry. DReps are responsible for Treasury resources, so they have the right and even the obligation to ask for additional information, request evidence of claims, request on-chain analyses, or request changes to the proposals. This is a completely normal procedure. Submitting a proposal is not a guarantee of obtaining funding. This process is inefficient because DReps often look at the proposal only after it has been submitted. Often, it is not an info action but a withdrawal. DReps are in a difficult position because if they need more information that is difficult to obtain, or a single change to the proposal, they have no choice but to vote NO and provide a rationale. Ideally, with conditions for approval. Proposers need to realize that DReps are unpaid and do not have the time to collect evidence or do on-chain analysis themselves. Proposers should provide this information so that DReps can verify it. An unapproved proposal may be partly the submitter's fault. There is no consensus on what should be in proposals. There is no template or rules. Let me give an example. Some teams list FTEs and cost breakdowns, while other teams do not. DReps could work with such detailed information in proposal A, so they can expect the same in proposal B. In case proposal B does not contain this information, it is desirable that the DReps require it. For proposers, this means processing feedback and resubmitting the proposal. I understand that this is unpleasant and laborious for both parties, for the team and DReps. The future of Cardano is at stake. We have entrusted it to decentralized governance. Asking questions, demanding cost reductions, wanting stricter milestones, wanting revenue sharing, and many other things are desirable in the name of protecting Treasury resources. I recommend that all proposers willingly process feedback from DReps and resubmit, instead of threatening to leave. Dialogue is always more beneficial than threats. If the team is genuinely interested in Cardano, they will find ways to continue building. Cardano governance urgently needs to establish standards and streamline processes.

I'm happy for @strikeperps but at the same time a little frustrated with Cardano. $ada holders and Dreps don't see the value in giving Strike a loan. One of the most profitable dapps on Cardano. Go figure.., a loan. With interest to help replenish the Treasury. Meanwhile an outsider said "here take my money" This allows strike to trade "25 billion ADA in annual trading activity" Is it on chain? No But V1 was and you didn't use it because fees were high and chain was slow. You can't have a world class Dapp on Cardano until Leios, USDM(USDCx)/CNT dex pools, babel fees are here maybe Midgard too. At least this brings other people into our ecosystem. Keep going team strike. I'm with you

Important News for Cardano ADA: Clearstream, the European financial giant managing over +$20 trillion in assets, has added ADA's support for institutional custody. As part of the Deutsche Börse Group, this move enables compliant, insured storage for ADA under MiCA rules. It significantly lowers the barrier for traditional institutions in Europe to hold and manage ADA, while also paving the way for more ADA-based ETPs on European exchanges. Beyond custody, ADA will also be used in Clearstream’s upcoming Next Gen security tokenization platform as a settlement asset, for collateral, and within tokenized products. European insititutional clients can now hold ADA alongside traditional securities in a single, familiar, MiCA-compliant platform. It signals Cardano's compliance fit in Europe and could encourage more capital inflows from European TradFi. #Cardano #ADA

I think Cardano’s next big opportunity could be in the institutional market, and Hydra could be a strong tool for bringing institutions onto Cardano. From my experience, Institutions don’t really see blockchains as ecosystems. They see them as infrastructure and distribution rails for financial services. Existing users and TVL matter less than controlled participation, fast settlement, low costs, security, and proven technology. In Korea, institutions are already forming consortiums and building tokenized securities platforms. Canton and Besu are often chosen because they support private, permissioned environments and the controls institutions need. Hydra could go beyond being just a scaling solution. A small group of approved institutions could run their own Head, process transactions quickly, and settle the final state on Cardano. Transactions would remain within the group while benefiting from Cardano’s ledger model, fast settlement, and low costs. I know Hydra isn’t a complete institutional privacy platform like Canton. KYC, access controls, selective disclosure, and asset freezing or recovery would still need to be built through smart contracts and middleware. But that’s also the opportunity: using Cardano as a neutral settlement layer and adding the compliance and control features institutions need on top of Hydra. What Cardano should sell to institutions isn’t its existing ecosystem, but an institutional transaction and settlement infrastructure built around its proven UTXO model and Hydra.
