Mr. Star Spangled MAGA@4thOfJuly365
I never thought I’d be the guy to start a wildfire, but here we are.
Less than a week ago I said “enough” and launched Starve The Grift.
The goal?
Expose the rage-bait accounts that farm conservative anger for cash.
Did I expect it to explode like this?
Hell no.
Here’s what’s blowing my mind though.
I actually believed in this idea, but I didn’t believe in me.
This week taught me something huge, maybe it’ll hit you too.
Have more faith in the things you feel called to do.
The world is starving for people who are willing to stand up and say “this isn’t right.”
You proved that when you stand, people run toward you, not away.
So thank you 🙏
Let me paint the picture that started all of this.
For a full year I watched the same accounts slide into my feed every single day like clockwork.
Same inflammatory takes.
Same dog-whistles.
Same predictable outrage.
I’d feel my blood pressure spike.
I’d start typing furious replies, then I'd stop.
Something felt off.
So I did what any slightly unhinged person does...
I went full detective.
I studied their pages for weeks.
Pattern after pattern after pattern.
9 out of 10 posts weren’t written to rally their own side.
They were surgical.
Precision-engineered to trigger one specific group.
Trump supporters, conservatives, patriots, into commenting.
Why?
Because right now on X, a reply from a blue-check pays roughly 14.5x more than any other engagement.
Do the math with me.
One rage-bait post + 2,000 angry replies = thousands of dollars
Your emotion = their mortgage payment
Your anger = their new car
They’re not activists.
They’re not even trolls anymore.
They’re farmers.
And we’re the crop.
That’s the grift.
And it’s disgusting.
So I drew a line in the sand.
But today I am challenging all of them.
Brooklyn Dad, Brian Krassenstein, Ed Krassenstein, Harry Sisson, Morgan J. Freeman, JoJoFromJerz, Olivia Julianna and the rest of the usual suspects.
Make one piece of content, just one that people engage with because they genuinely like it.
- Make someone laugh
- Inspire them
- Teach them something
- Entertain them
- Provide value
If any of them take the challenge and create something real, if they prove they can thrive without farming rage, I’ll shut this whole campaign down today and go right back to helping small accounts grow (which is what I love doing).
But until that day comes, my mission is crystal clear.
Evaporate their X payouts.
Starve the grift.
Force the algorithm to reward creators who bring light instead of heat.
And here’s the beautiful part...
We’re already doing it.
Every day you refuse to comment or quote, their earnings drop.
Every time you boost a small creator who’s actually trying, we shift the money to people who deserve it.
This isn’t about left vs. right anymore.
This is about real vs. fake.
Honesty vs. hustle.
Community vs. cash-grab.
So keep going.
Keep scrolling past the bait.
Keep lifting up the voices that make this place fun again.
We’re not just cleaning up the timeline, we’re proving something bigger.
When regular people decide enough is enough, we can move mountains in a week.
I started this whole thing doubting myself.
I’m ending this week standing taller because of you.
Let’s finish what we started.
The power was in our hands the whole time, we just had to stop feeding the machine.
Who’s with me?
