@senatorbabet People always tell me they want leaders who say what they mean and do what they say, as soon as one comes along they whine about it. People are much happier being lied to and there are more than enough grifting politicians around to take advantage of that.

The parallels between the Roman Empire and the modern West are no longer subtle they’re glaring. Civilisations decay from within, weak leadership, inflation, mass immigration, moral confusion, loss of identity. Without decisive unapologetically strong leadership the West will not remain the preeminent civilisation. Democracy is failing to stop the decline. I foresee that in our lifetimes we will move away from democracy and (hopefully) lean into strong masculine benevolent leaders who will rule with an iron fist. Discuss.

Yep, he has done a hell of a job when we give credit for the number of dry service stations improving the bar has been lowered to meet Bowens ability. An energy minister in one of the top 3 or 4 energy dense countries in the world running out of energy isn’t something to celebrate, especially after the money he has pissed away.

Chris Bowen once again has proven his competence. Fuel supply is stable, and the number of fuel stations out of fuel is improving steadily. Cookers like Hanson and Taylor, attacking Labor over this, are spinning BS to try to freak out people in the regions. LNP just want votes

Daily tradition or too much? 🇦🇺 “Welcome to Country” ceremonies are an important part of recognizing Indigenous heritage and culture in Australia 🇦🇺 Some believe including it in schools helps build respect, understanding, and unity from a young age.

Controversial Thoughts: Trumps war in Iran isn’t about opening the strait of Hormuz. It’s about closing it. Trump has Venezuela (Oil), North America (Oil & Fertiliser) and access to Mexico for manufacturing. He’s also looking to control Panama. With almost $40 Trillion in debt, owed to the rest of the world, shifting all oil and fertiliser sales to the Americas, it forces Asia, Europe and Oceana (including Australia for now) to purchase from the US. This destroys the US debt and backs the USD. He doesn’t care if they win or lose in Iran, it’s about ensuring oil exports stop. Israel is also vying for the strait to stay close so they can bring it all in via pipeline, bypassing the strait. It seems whilst Israel started the war, the US and Israel have different goals, which conflict. This would also end Israel’s influence on the West. This would also effectively stop the UN/WEF Agenda 2030 plan by effectively destroying its funding and source of power over countries like Australia, Europe and other countries they’re desperately trying to destroy under a new global one world government. Just a thought. What’s yours?

Obviously he came across another meme of him in a bikini. He's totally forgotten about the fuel crisis. This is so much more important to focus on. They wouldn't say it to his face? I beg to differ. Of course he has his Gestapo around him that make it pretty hard for any Australian to tell Albo what they are thinking of him. Remember when the man who called out "You have blood on your hands" was tackled by the Stasi?". Albo started to sprint. I'm sure I saw a small patch of brown at the back of his pants. I'm sure he pooped his pants that day like he did at the Lakemba Mosque. How is this muppet our Prime Minister.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese criticizes people getting news from social media because it's "misinformation," and not "consistent" like legacy news outlets. Who here trusts the "consistent" legacy media?

#BREAKING Anthony Albanese says people used to get their news from “channel 7, 9, ABC or 10” and there would be a “consistency about it” But complains that people are now getting news from “their device, which tells them all sorts of things that aren’t true” More like we know get the truth.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says his national address to Australians - who waited eight hours to hear what he had to say - was about showing them respect. Mr Albanese’s three minute message was simulcast on every television and radio station on Wednesday night, during which he called for calm and common sense amid the escalating uncertainty of the Iran war, and warned of tougher days to come. National addresses are rare and usually reserved for times of war or crisis, like in the first few days of Covid-19, when Scott Morrison made a significant economic announcement. On Thursday, Mr Albanese defended his address - which the Coalition has criticised as detail-light - as being about talking directly to Australians in a growing era of misinformation. “People used to get their information from (mainstream news) and there would be a consistency about it. Now they are getting it on their device, which is telling them all sorts of things … So I wanted to talk directly to the nation,” he said at the National Press Club “That is more important than ever, because the nature of the noise that is out there, the conspiracy theories which we can’t do anything about … I am taking every opportunity to try to put facts out there about where we are at, and to show people that we do have a plan, that there is no need for people to go and fill jerry cans. “I think it was worth doing so.” Mr Albanese was then pointed to a comment left under his video on Facebook, which requested he reserve addresses to the nation for “things of importance” and said “being told hours in advance that our national leader is going to address us on a predetermined time can elevate anxiety for people thinking it’s going to be something dire”.

Today, Andrew Hirst advised that he would be stepping down from the role as Federal Director of the Liberal Party of Australia. We have worked closely with Andrew over a number of years, and we’ve always valued his steady judgment, professionalism, and commitment to the Party. He has taken on demanding roles during some very tough campaigns, in the 2013 election campaign, and again in 2019, where he was crucial in delivering a result few thought possible - and he’s done so with resilience and integrity. This job often happens behind the scenes, but Andrew’s contribution has been significant, helping to hold the organisation together and ensuring we were always fighting hard for the values we believe in. We thank Andrew sincerely for his service and for the support he has shown to colleagues across the Party. We know he will continue to serve the Liberal Party in many ways into the future, we wish him and his family all the very best. We now turn our focus to the work ahead: continuing to rebuild, strengthen our team, and earn the trust of Australians. Because at the end of the day, our task is clear. It is to protect Australians’ way of life and restore their standard of living.

Breaking: Parents at a Victorian school have already received communications from the Principal and leadership team regarding preparations for potential disruptions to teaching. The letter discusses hybrid or remote learning as options and expresses concern about snap decisions, with the school aiming to stay ahead of any issues that may arise. I’ve verified the authenticity with a parent of a child from the school.

Clarence Thomas is a brilliant man and one of the greatest justices of all time. He also needs to retire immediately. He's 77 years old. If Democrats win the midterms and then the presidency, which they very likely could, there's a significant chance they will get to replace him with another Kentanji Brown Jackson. That would be a disaster for the country. We need to get young conservatives on the court right now. Alito, too. He's 76.
