@the_jefferymead Most countries that have universal healthcare (like European countries) spend waaay less than the US does (like half of it, 7-9% vs 17%). So instead of trying to find people to exclude from the system, why not try to fix the actual problem? (The inefficiency?)

Giving free healthcare to illegal immigrants isn’t compassion, it’s suicidal empathy. A woman running for Congress just said everyone should get it, even those here illegally. This is what happens when feelings override structure and virtue signaling outweighs logic.
 It rewards lawbreaking and dumps the cost on taxpayers. You don’t save your house by setting it on fire to keep the neighbors warm.

@Qantas very concerned with the process to check if people are capable of being in an exit row. I had two people next to me who clearly didn’t meet the criteria. I saw the man limp up the walkway and was unable to pick something up when he dropped it. Don’t ask ..people lie.
