WATER SUPPLY STOPPAGE IN NAVI MUMBAI: Why does NMMC keep stopping water supply every few weeks in the name of “maintenance”? This is nothing but administrative failure dressed up as routine work. In any truly developed or well-managed global city, #water supply systems are maintained without forcing entire populations to suffer dry taps for hours or days. But in #NaviMumbai, every minor repair becomes an excuse to shut down water supply across large areas. This is 2026, not the 1980s. A so-called “smart city” cannot function like this. Residents pay taxes, water charges and some of the highest property prices, yet are repeatedly pushed into tanker dependency because the civic system seems incapable of modernising its infrastructure or planning maintenance efficiently. Global cities do not paralyse daily life every time a pipeline needs attention. Hospitals, offices, schools, businesses and households cannot keep functioning under this constant uncertainty. #NMMC must stop treating citizens’ inconvenience as normal. Upgrade the system, improve planning, create backup mechanisms and end this outdated practice of blanket water cuts in the name of maintenance. @NMMCCommr @NMMConline @NaviMumbaiCity @navimumbaicv #Nerul #Belapur #Vashi @Dev_Fadnavis @CMOMaharashtra

As an urgent austerity measure in NATIONAL INTEREST will every union minister, chief minister, MLA and MP give us, the people, an assurance and undertaking that they will not have more than 3 cars in their entourage? Same for some top industrialists! After all fuel is a limited resource and the more they deplete, the less there is for the rest of India!

CONGRESS SQUANDERING THE MANDATE WON IN KERALA? #Congress party never learns. Even after securing a massive mandate in #Kerala, it is busy sabotaging itself with shameless power games and endless delays over the chief minister’s post. Instead of showing clarity, discipline and leadership, the party has once again descended into chaos and confusion. V. D. #Satheesan, who played a crucial role in reviving Congress and leading the UDF comeback, should have been declared Chief Minister without hesitation. But merit and public mandate mean nothing when desperate leaders are fighting like vultures for the chair. K. C. #Venugopal and #Ramesh #Chennithala appear more interested in satisfying personal ambition than respecting the people’s verdict. Their ugly tug-of-war is exposing the Congress culture of selfishness, backstabbing and factional warfare. At a time when Kerala expects a stable and decisive alternative government, Congress is busy proving why people lose faith in it. The delay is not just embarrassing — it is reckless political stupidity that is rapidly eroding the goodwill and momentum earned in the elections. If the party continues this circus, it will end up destroying its own victory before even forming the government. @INCKerala @INCIndia @CPIMKerala @kharge @kcvenugopalmp @vdsatheesan #BJP #CPM

Even reaching the exit at Navi Mumbai airport involves a long, exhausting walk of nearly half a mile—a needless, roundabout route. Why can’t the airport provide a quicker, more direct way out? #NaviMumbai #Airport

Bank nationalisation undoubtedly remains the most important economic decision taken by any Indian government. Not even the 1991 reforms are comparable in their consequences — political, social and, of course, economic. @GeorgeMathew500 explains: indianexpress.com/article/explai…
