The Florida fairy shrimp was identified in 1952 as a unique species found only in a single pond in Gainesville. When researchers returned to the site in 2011, they discovered the pond had been filled in for development, meaning the species had gone extinct.

Smaller plantation houses of the MS Delta, at various times and places. These have not survived as well because, well, they just weren't as interesting. But houses like this were the ones built by the "hard spine" of the secessionist movement. Usually economically precarious, dependent on British loans, and unable to unwind themselves from the slavery trap.

@GabrielCharczuk @starless_king I dont know where you are from or your family's origins but in mine men always got their plate last at dinner and wouldn't get 2nds until everyone has eaten or (esp at gatherings) women and children would get their plates and the wife would bring one to her husband

I can't stress this enough but i go to a Church under the MP where way before we had a Brazilian priest, the russian priests we had followed this order: Children always first from youngest to older, everyone else mixed in and then clergy. And you could on the side you wanted.

@web_runner2003 @AngloVarangian Avoid them and dont get yourself killed proving a point everyone already knows. Theres nothing a lone individual can do about this its a structural problem stemming from government failure to enforce law and negative insentives in the welfare system

@GeorgiaBoy747 @AngloVarangian I agree. Do you think white people's response to these behaviors on the street should just be to ignore them? They've been emboldened to act however they want because they will receive no consequence for their behavior.

The loss of taste for cornbread and beans, especially in the south, for burritos, chimichangas, and flautas is culturally genocidal and an existential crisis.

I’m like dead fucking serious it’s actually shocking to me how many Sunni militants have travelled all over the world for every opportunity to spill blood and do jihad: Chechens going to Bosnia, Uighurs going to Syria and Iraq, very centrism Asian and Pakistani going to Afghanistan, but literally never has the ummah dedicated a single man for Palestine.
Based Meth Addict@meth_slonker

Just a reminder that the only people that come close to the bloodthirsty violence and evil of the Jew is the Sunnoid militant who spends his life killing defenseless minorities, women, children, but will never aim his rifle at Israel.

@AngloVarangian I understand not agreeing with his approach, but in what way do you think it's self-destructive? Black culture and it's lowest constituents have been destructive to our society. Do you think what he's doing will make things worse?

No one in Debl documented this cross. No one there told me the IDF replaced the damaged one But locals posted about Italian UNIFIL soldiers replacing it with a new one (much respect to them🤍) So what exactly did the IDF share…Is it even real?If it is it means locals refused it

A short while ago, in full coordination with the local community of Debel in southern Lebanon, the damaged statue was replaced by IDF troops. The Northern Command worked to coordinate the replacement of the statue from the moment it received the report of the incident. The IDF expresses deep regret over the incident, and is working to ensure that it does not happen again in the future.

The lone star tick alpha gal syndrome thing is legitimately the only thing that keeps me up at night. Like I can probably deal with anything else bad happening but a bug bite turning me into a vegan faggot is an absolute nightmare scenario.
LUKEY ✣@VERYKOOLLUKEY

Apparently there is a new tick disease going around that make people completely allergic to any mammalian product (meat, dairy.. ect) I spoke to a local ecologist about it and he said that the number of tick species in our area have gone from 3 to 9 within the past 5 years

Orthodox History@OrthodoxHistory·
This is basically correct, in that cradle Orthodox women are rarely a good fit for convert men. I’m cradle, and I have daughters. I think my daughters are much better off marrying cradle or very longtime Orthodox men, in large part because in a marriage, it’s not ideal for the woman to be the spiritual leader of the family. That’s almost inevitable if you have a cradle girl marrying a man who’s, say, 5 years in as an Orthodox Christian. I’m not saying it can’t work out (I know of situations where it has), but I don’t recommend it.
Officer Frenly (High IQ)@FrenlyOfficer

>marry an orthodox girl Sorry but the Orthodox Church is BYOB (Bring Your Own Babe) If you are a young American man who converts to Orthodoxy you will not find an Orthodox wife. Bring one in with you.
