H.Res. 1125, May 18, 2022, a non-binding resolution condemning rising antisemitism, honored Jewish American heritage, calling for protections against antisemitic violence and Holocaust denial. 420 voted for -- one opposed: Massie. Even "The Squad" supported it. If anything had a hint of Jewishness, Massie reflexively opposed it. Every time.

Wow Scott, with all the shit Trump says to and about people and you pick one joke by Massie to criticize. Massie has never been anti-Semitic but he is opposed to sending money to Israel and having elections bought by the Israeli lo. Shame on you for making something out of this. 🤨

🚨 NEW: Scott Jennings blasts Thomas Massie on his way out the door: “Despicable, anti-Semitic, nasty, gutter politics… it needs to be condemned.” “What a way to go out. He said, ‘I’d have called Gallrein but I had to find him in Tel Aviv.’.. it needs to be stated, acknowledged and condemned because it was pretty despicable,” adds @ScottJenningsKY. President Trump didn’t just beat Thomas Massie, he exposed him.

Massie is a bigot and an anti-semite. He would freely cross the aisle to join any resolution contrary to the interests of Jews, e.g.: the only no vote, 420 to 1, to a lukewarm resolution against anti-semitism. He personified this new Jew-hate masquerading as political thought. I'm glad he was rejected by most people in Kentucky, but I'm also horrified that so many others didn't seem to care.

Again -- DO YOU STUDY or THINK? You point to Pappe to attack my argument that the last 75 years of population growth rebuts the claim of ethnic cleansing. If you had read that book (which has been pretty broadly criticed) you would have known that it was only talking about the war of 1948, not what's happened since. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ethni… You obviously never read the book! 75 YEARS OF HISTORY DEMONSTRATE that there is no ethnic cleansing in Israel. The numbers don't lie. Now apply that to what you're saying about genocide, and you'll see that your logic is badly flawed. The Arab population in Israel has continued to grow and thrive for 75 years IN ISRAEL. Have you heard of Fureidis? Jaffa? Lod? Thriving Arab cities. I've seen them and there's many others. I've seen Arabs in ever store, in every shop and in every neighborhood I've visited. Arabs thrive across Israel and are broadly represented in every profession and in every walk of life. For goodness sake, every single sign in the entire country is written in Arabic. Nothing, nothing points to 'evidence of intent to erase the Israeli Arab population.' Put aside your preconceptions and go out and learn something.

For the millionth time , population growth is not the LEGAL definition of genocide as per the 1948 Genocide convention. You can attempt to ethnically cleanse by removing people while alive , you can attempt genocide without killing everyone. Furthermore isarel has been ‘mowing the lawn’ for decades.

Why does Spain care so much about Palestine? Like it's weird. They threatened to boycott the WC if Israel was there, they already do for the Eurovision. Barcelona won the league and had a Palestinian flag on the bus during the parade! Etc etc Like they don't even have that high of a Muslim population compared to other countries, so why is this issue so big for them???

@kingorry032 @RobOnARamble @Prominent_Bryan The numbers tell the story. There is no ethnic cleansing of an Arab population if it is rising disproportionally to the Jewish population. Such an argument is specious. @grok list the rate of growth of arab, christian and Jewish populations in israel since 1948?

@RobOnARamble @Prominent_Bryan Do you study before you post? Since 1948 the Arab population of Israel has grown at a much larger rate than that of the Jewish population. Ask Grok, ask anyone, but this is NOT ethnic cleansing.

@Prominent_Bryan No idea. I’m sure it’s got nothing to do with the way Israel has been treating the Palestinians since 1948; i.e. slowly ethnically cleansing them from their homes.

@pubity Wrong to imply that Bulgaria 'defeated' Israel when it's been widely reported that before the Grand Final, Dara’s management team contacted an Israeli journalist and asked commentators to highlight on air that she had liked Noam’s performance and was “proud to stand by” him.

How blind are you? The only reason Israel is there is to fight Hezbollah -- an Iranian Shiite terrorist organization. Hezbollah is not part of the Lebanese government. Read the news. Lebanon ordered the Iranian Ambassador out a few months ago and he has refused to leave. The Lebanese don't want Hezbollah there. Lebanon was formed from the French mandate to protect the interests of Maronite christians, who were more than half the population. The remainder were primarily Sunni Muslims, with a much smaller percentage of Shia, Druze, Alawites and Jews. Hezbollah came later as an Iranian Shiite invading force that Lebanon now wants gone. So does the international community, but no one has been willing or able to stand against them. However, instead of leaving Hezbollah has continued to dominate the Lebanese and attack Israel. Hezbollah has routinely violated the border despite the Blue Line being certified 30+ years ago. They constantly express their intent to destroy Israel. And post October 7th, the 1.5 million people who live in northern Isreal have been either displaced by rocket attacks or have been constantly forced into shelters for more than 2 years. If there were canadians shelling us from the north, I would expect -- and it would be the duty of the US government -- to protect us. There is no distinction here ... unless you are blinded by anti-Israel bias. Examine the facts and educate yourself.

By your logic, if someone told you to leave your property and your home because they are going to burn it to the ground, they committed an "extremely ethical act". I'd love to see it happen and then have people tell you not to complain about it because you had 'fair warning'. Do you know what's even more extremely ethical than telling someone you're about to destroy everything they own? Exactly! Not destroying everything they own in the first place!

Can anyone explain to me why Israel and only Israel is able to order people from another country to evacuate their home? Anyone? Israel has issued an evacuation order for Tyre, Lebanon, displacing 200,000 more people. Tyre is an ancient Phoenician city with Roman ruins and a hippodrome.

@fleur_de_irk @LondonTitan @jamiemcintyre21 Hezbollah is a terrorist organization and has no right to engage in any armed conflict. They are not the government of Lebanon, which is the only entity legally capable of acting in the name of the people of Lebanon.

@GerolAdam @jamiemcintyre21 When Russia ordered the evacuation of individual buildings in Grozny, every jew neocon was shrieking that it was a war crime. But when sainted israel orders whole cities abandoned for ethnic cleansing, they are the "world's most moral army"...

@JonahPlatt If someone offers me free land which is owned by others I would also say "fucking YES!", but I could very well understand if the current owner said "fucking NO!". That's what happened. The British gave you land which is not theirs to give.

In 1937, the Peel Commission offered Jews 18% of the territory, alongside a British-administered zone. Everything else went to the Arabs. Jews said yes. Arabs said no and violently revolted, closing down Jewish immigration with catastrophic results for European Jews fleeing the Holocaust. This is where the story starts.

Last year I went to Washington DC and completely fell in love with the city. I could genuinely see myself living there one day. Today I’m in Ottawa. Let’s just say… this trip only confirmed that my future is probably in Washington, Florida, or Israel. Definitely not Ottawa.

I understand a lot of the pro-Israel community has been deeply hurt by the Transgender movement. Many of you have right-wing sympathies, especially in the aftermath of October 7. And it’s also clear that our community has betrayed you. I fully agree with you the average Trans account screaming about genocide hates Jews in ways they don’t understand. But I also have to say this. There is a growing transphobia in Zionist advocacy that is festering and is deeply ugly. And I think a lot of you are not demonstrating the values that are foundational in a liberal democracy. Dignity for all citizens, equal participation in public life and a commitment to treat people fairly. The very values that have made America such a uniquely welcoming place for Jews. A lot of people are unaware of the policy Trump is putting into place. There is no reason for trans people to be targeted by our antiterrorism strategy. Making it a felony for us to use the bathroom with five years in men’s prison is cruel and dehumanizing. Calling us men at every turn is ugly bigotry. Here is the truth. An America that decides you are disposable will eventually turn on me, and an America decides I am disposable will eventually turn on you. Our fates are intertwined. I already know what you will say in response. You’ll shift the conversation to your various beefs and bitches with us. You can have criticisms of excessive of the progressive trans movement while understanding that eliminating a group of people from participating in public life is wrong. I am asking the people I fought alongside for two years to hold yourself to higher standards. Please call this garbage out. Even if you don’t value me, just do it for pragmatic reasons. Because either all of us count or none of us count.

The blockade started on 2007 because Gazans were launching rockets into Israel since 2001. It was a poor attempt to prevent explosives entering, but when you have hundreds of trucks entering daily during the “blockade”, it obviously wasn’t really effective in preventing explosives being smuggled in.

@AmitSegal Any objective person would be skeptical of this from the start. Do you think for a second Barack Obama would be privy to the current intelligence shared with Trump? Not a chance in this world. In other words, this quote reflects nothing other than complete grandstanding.

Barack Obama to The New Yorker: Netanyahu tried to persuade me to go to war with Iran using the same arguments he later presented to Trump. “Maybe Netanyahu got what he wanted, but I doubt whether that’s what’s good for the citizens of Israel or the United States. There is extensive documentation of my disagreements with Netanyahu.”
