Today, Eskom welcomed its Group Chief Executive (GCE), Mr Dan Marokane, joined by the Minister of @DPE_ZA , Mr Pravin Gordhan. In addressing the Eskom staff, Eskom Board Chairman, @mteton said that he expects Dan to be a champion for the people who also hold them accountable. He reiterated the Board's and government's full support for the GCE. The Minister, Chairman, and GCE thanked Mr Calib Cassim for taking on the role of GCE in an acting capacity while the recruitment process was underway.
