I AM NO INVESTMENT ADVISOR! I picked up Apple Computer, Inc. Stock Certificates in December 1980. The broker had me sign a waiver to prove I was sane and to protect me. I signed it. I did ok I guess. I framed this certificate to remember. So I am guessing about SpaceX too.

He does NOT have an engineering degree, you mean. A degree is a form of validation, and having one does not necessarily show competence. Vice versa, not having one doesn’t necessarily show lack of competence. As someone that is running multiple successful engineering companies, hiring the best engineers in the world, I would say is a pretty good display of competency in the field. FYI, you can be a self taught engineer.

That said, acquisitions that are done well, usually adopt the efficient/profitable practices and get rid of waste and inefficiencies. Anyway, that is all speculation at this point.
