My speech on the Senate floor this morning. The people who will have to live under the consequences of this map, including many in my district, turned out and fought against gerrymandering. But the dark money from out of state, special interest groups, and DC politicians barely dragged this amendment over the line. Now this moves from the ballot box to the courthouse. The question now is whether the Supreme Court of Virginia will enforce the rule of law.
