Before we even start asking questions, the so-called recovered KSh 500 million didn’t just “go missing” ; it was blatantly stolen from police records. Wiped out. Erased like it never existed. Let’s stop pretending this was an accident. This was a deliberate cover-up, ordered from the top. A senior politician didn’t just look the other way , they pulled the strings and made the evidence disappear. This is outright impunity.

More than 20 Kenyan doctoral students studying in Germany could face deportation after the government failed to remit millions of shillings required under a joint scholarship programme with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Official correspondence between DAAD, the National Research Fund (NRF) and the Ministry of Education shows that the programme, which currently supports 24 PhD students, has effectively collapsed after Kenya stopped paying its share of student funding in 2024. ow.ly/wwhH50YEakp

HE Uhuru Kenyatta fired the then KPC MD Joe Sang over Ksh 1.9 billion Kisumu oil jetty project. HE Uhuru had him arrested and charged in court, but once Ruto took power, he ordered the ODPP to drop all charges against Sang citing political persecution by Uhuru since he was a Kalenjin like Ruto. Ruto hired him back and 3 years later, the same Sang is now caught up in a Ksh 4 billion fraud at the KPC. Forget the drama behind his resignation and arrest, which has happened days after Rigathi Gachagua swore to expose Ruto and corruption in KPC. He and the rest have been sacrificed to protect the real fraudster behind the 2018 Ksh 1.9 billion and the 2026 Ksh 4 billion. You and I know him and I'm certain that Rigathi Gachagua will expose him.

FROM PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP WE GOT HIM! My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Member Officers, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I am thrilled to let you know is now SAFE and SOUND! This brave Warrior was behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted down by our enemies, who were getting closer and closer by the hour, but was never truly alone because his Commander in Chief, Secretary of War, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and fellow War Fighters were monitoring his location 24 hours a day, and diligently planning for his rescue. At my direction, the U.S. Military sent dozens of aircraft, armed with the most lethal weapons in the World, to retrieve him. He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine. This miraculous Search and Rescue Operation comes in addition to a successful rescue of another brave Pilot, yesterday, which we did not confirm, because we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation. This is the first time in military memory that two U.S. Pilots have been rescued, separately, deep in Enemy Territory. WE WILL NEVER LEAVE AN AMERICAN WARFIGHTER BEHIND! The fact that we were able to pull off both of these operations, without a SINGLE American killed, or even wounded, just proves once again, that we have achieved overwhelming Air Dominance and Superiority over the Iranian skies. This is a moment that ALL Americans, Republican, Democrat, and everyone else, should be proud of and united around. We truly have the best, most professional, and lethal Military in the History of the World. GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, AND HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!

KTN is reporting that Ksh 500M recovered from the homes of the four KPC suspects have vanished from police custody. It's reported that the senior thug who resides at Statehouse ordered the money to be delivered to him. It's very clear that this was a case of junior thugs stealing without sharing the proceeds of crime with the senior thug. Other countries have mafias while in Kenya, a mafia has a country.

Some countries say - the sky is not the limit. The moon is not the limit. Our galaxy is not the limit. Others say- it’s our time to eat. They say we cannot to provide KSH 22,000 capitation to secondary school students, even though we can afford to pay politicians KSH 18,000 PER DAY for food and drinks. They say that drainage problems exist because of lack of resources, while blowing billions on luxury travel and corruption. Whatever you believe you can do, you can. Including being a failure.

MORE EVIDENCE WHY RUTO IS INHERENTLY AND IRREDEEMABLY CORRUPT This drama of sackings in the energy sector has revealed how brutally corrupt this regime is. Governments all over the world are working overnight trying to address the crisis. 🧵

@mutuma_mathiu Now begs the question: If these "line officials" have ½ a billion in the house; how much do the big shots have? Trillions in containers? Good grief!

Corruption so bad that government officials have Sh500 million in cash in their homes? It sounds like one of those hyped up fake stories. But if it is true, doesn’t it rise to the point where the government is required to resign? Because how much more has been stolen and where was the government when all this was happening?

Kenya is not poor. Kenya is mismanaged. Every year, trillions are drained into servicing questionable, opaque, and unjust debts ,while hospitals lack medicine and schools lack resources. Safina offers a radical but necessary shift: Reject odious debt. Free KSh 1.6 trillion for public good. Guarantee free healthcare because life is not a privilege. Fund free education because ignorance is expensive. Cut taxes to 5% because citizens deserve breathing room. End domestic borrowing because the government should not compete with its own people.

The right to vote is not conditional, it is guaranteed under Article 38 of our Constitution! Any move that effectively forces Kenyans who registered before 2012 to re-register, in a short period of time, before the next poll raises serious constitutional concerns. Under Articles 81 and 86, the IEBC is obligated to ensure a voting system that is inclusive, transparent, and does not disenfranchise any citizen. Kenyans cannot be punished for administrative transitions within the Commission. The burden must never shift to the voter. Further, the IEBC should confirm or deny that it cannot account for over 20,000 KIEMS kits or the tampering with voters' data on its public portal. The IEBC must urgently convince Kenyans that their move is in good faith and not in any way intended to disenfranchise voters. It should thereafter clarify how it will guarantee that no eligible Kenyan, especially the elderly and those in remote areas, is locked out of the 2027 elections. We remind the IEBC that they have a duty to build, not destroy confidence with the electorate. Kura zetu ni haki yetu. We will not stand by as bureaucratic processes threaten the sovereignty of the people. We will defend that right. #KuraYetuHakiYetu

The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics released a report on the POORLY governed counties in Kenya based on audit issues, unspent funds in the CRF and poverty rates. I am not shocked to see counties in the semi-arid/arid regions like Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, Lamu, Tana River, Kwale and others in the list. What has caught my attention is how KISII COUNTY found itself in this list. For those who don't know Kisii County; it is a rich county in Agriculture, Trade and Commerce, Mining (Soapstone), and many other economic activities. In the year 2020 Kisii County was ranked Nyanza's giant in money circulation surpassing Kisumu, something that informed the Central Bank to open one of its branches in Kisii Town Centre to cater for the huge cashflow in the county. Today, Kisii County is now at its knees for reasons that have always been highlighted by the Controller of Budget related to INCOMPETENCY and BAD GOVERNANCE from the local leadership down at the devolved unit. It is a sad thing that a town that had grown vibrantly under devolution is now struggling and poverty levels at par with the drought stricken counties. By 2021 Kisii County was one of the highest contributors to the country's GDP but today, it's now worse than it was under the local authorities. Choices have CONSEQUENCES!

A new economic direction for Kenya is possible and necessary. Agenda One: No Payment of Odious Debt Frees up KSh 1.6 trillion annually money that belongs to the people, not corrupt deals made in secrecy. Agenda Two: Free Healthcare KSh 170 billion to guarantee dignity, save lives, and end the cruel reality of Kenyans dying due to lack of care. Agenda Three: Free Education KSh 270 billion invested in human capital because a nation that educates its people secures its future. Agenda Four: 5% Sales Tax Lower taxes, higher disposable income, more spending power for households and small businesses. Agenda Five: No Domestic Borrowing Stop crowding out citizens and businesses, the private sector breathe, invest, and create jobs. This is the Safina vision: People over debt. Dignity over exploitation.
