When politicians or the gutter press claim there is a “War on motorists” or that councils are “Anti car” this is why. We need to reduce the number of fatalities caused by drivers. These are not accidents, someone is at fault and it’s almost always the person driving.

Drivers are making a war on the general population. It’s drivers who kill 1,800 people and severely injure and maim 27,000 more every year. This is not a war on drivers. Speed cameras don’t kill drivers and are easily avoided by driving a little slower.
