1. NATO invited Ukraine onto membership path. Ukraine said yes ASAP and started integrating with NATO since 2014. 2. There's no evidence of that. 3. Yes and Russia and can decide its fate. So can America decide its fate if Canada and Mexico decide to join a military alliance with China.

I have always been pro-ukraine and reasonably optimistic about the situation, but I would have never imagined in my wildest dreams that (1) Ukraine would be that good on all axis, and (2) that Russia would suck so much. It's amazing.

Ukraine has developed its version of a Russian KAB glide-bomb, which is reportedly produced domestically. According to Ukrainian Defence Minister Mikhail Federov, the munition has a range of "dozens of kilometres" and weighs 250 kg. It can be launched by Su-24M tactical bombers. Currently, the weapon is only being used experimentally, and not on the frontline yet. It likely acts similar to western guided munitions, such as JDAM-ERs, AASM Hammers, and GBU-39/Bs, and would be used to increase their overall air power for frontline strike, rather than provide a new, different option for airstrikes.

The Vietnamese military has demonstrated a naval drone assembled from off-the-shelf commercial components. The platform is based on a radio-controlled mini boat, to which a B41 grenade warhead — a Vietnamese version of the RPG-7 — has been attached. The device is controlled from shore using a standard remote controller. After the demonstration, senior military officials showed interest in the project. In Vietnam, there is already discussion about producing thousands of such drones for potential attacks on high-value ships.

Today, Russian Chief of Staff Valery Gerasimov made some of the most ridiculous claims I've ever seen in this war. According to him, 85% of Lyman is under Russian control, and Russian forces have captured all of Borova, half of Shyikivka, and are fighting for Druzhelyubivka and Cherneshchyna. The reality is: Russian forces control only a few positions on the outskirts of Lyman and are infiltrating some of the suburbs. The VAST MAJORITY of fighting is still ongoing for positions OUTSIDE Lyman. Russian forces are over 3 km from the outskirts of Borova, let alone fully controlling it. They are also over 4 km from Shyikivka, over 4 km from Cherneshchyna, and over 1.1 km from the outskirts of Druzhelyubivka. Claims of full Russian control over the remnants of Luhansk Oblast are also false. I've mapped what his claims of the frontline configuration would theoretically look like below. I've said it before and I will say it again: NEVER trust wartime government reports, whether they are Russian or Ukrainian.
