@LG_Rocket @fixersbk @FBI @paulfroberts You can load Open WRT onto an EOL router, which should address these vulnerabilities. So far, the Open WRT community has been proactive about addressing potential vulnerabilities, but you'd have to monitor it and continue updates.

From the @FBI: Your out of date router could put you at risk. That's why it's so important that manufactures TELL US for how long they're going to support our products. At the very least we need transparency for how long products are supported before we buy them. h/t @gigastacey

Ever you ever bought tech that should still work but then the manufacturer stopped providing updates or cut server support? 🪦 Our new electronic waste graveyard lists over 100 products launched in the last decade which met an untimely end when they became obsolete.

@ConsumerReports has new data about the right to repair. Unsurprisingly the more something costs, the more a consumer will try to repair it. Sadly from an e-waste perspective, 61 % of consumers view broken small appliances as disposable.

Google is the worst. It’s blasting misleading emails to stop a privacy-related bill on Gov Newsom’s desk for signature. Google activates its monopoly power and customer base when it’s desperate to stop laws. ps “Grow with Google” is also sending witnesses to antitrust trial. 1/3

@TwoCowsGames @cityofbi I like coquette for pastries. Basa or Via Rosa for food although Bruciato has good pizza. Agate has lovely cocktails and good food ideas, but something small always goes wrong whenever we eat there. The troll is neat and the Bloedel is always a winner.
