ANNOUNCEMENT: 'Polygon Etcetera' by @dmitricherniak sells out for 100 ETH (~$305,000 USD) total. Presented with @AOTMgallery, the collection is 20 unique works and the only new algorithmic series from Cherniak in 2025. 12 of the works debuted at @ArtBasel Zero 10, with 5 selling off the floor to new traditional collectors. It is the first ETH purchase ever for one collector.

@GuidoDisalle I can't speak for the other teams at Basel, but we stuck to our guns and made sure every single interested party knew they were buying a digital token on chain. It scared almost none of them away, and actually inspired a few new buyers to go all the way.

I’ve seen some discussion on the timeline about pricing in dollars vs crypto, calling it digital art instead of NFT’s, etc. I think it’s painfully obvious that the vast majority of people in our space do what’s best for them, and not the broader ecosystem, and at times they even contradict themselves. We are so small of a space, with very little new interest, that I think trying anything in good faith to attract new entrants should be encouraged. Truth be told, anyone that’s honest would admit that we desperately need some growth!

@deekaymotion You need an estate plan. Ideally one drawn up by a firm that knows how seed phrases work. Until there are shops offering full service, you are gonna want them to provision an executor - someone you trust that has the knowledge to move coins and tokens.

For crypto-maxis, how are you preparing to pass down your wealth? Seedphrases, multisig, whatever method you're using, what's the plan for unexpected situations like death?
