When buying a car, muache kupima gari na macho vile mnapima HIV😭. Have it professionally inspected.
A friend of mine recently bought a car worth a whopping KSh 1.3M, intending to put it on our leasing programme. When he told me he was in the process, I advised him to contact @joan_reals or any reputable inspection garage of his choice.
I insisted, but yeye akasema gari iko sawa kabisa ati it was “lady driven.” Nikamwacha afuate roho yake.
Barely two weeks later, both the engine and gearbox are dead. Sasa hata sijui nitamconsole aje.
The reality is that a good-looking car and a clever mechanic can hide a lot of expensive problems. Don’t trust your eyes, the seller’s sweet words, or “lady driven.” Have the car properly scanned, inspected and road-tested before paying.
Wacha nimtumie Balozi mbili za pole. Situation yake sijui kama kuna njia ingine naweza msaidia.

@TheVictorOkafor My issue with Doku is that he left his wife who was nearly due to come to some world cup, he should have stayed home with her
English

If the last few days of this World Cup didn’t teach you anything about humans, I fear you may never learn.
Jeremy Doku wanted to leave the Belgian camp to be there for the birth of his first child. There was outrage. A french media personality criticised him publicly. Called him names. Said he was throwing away a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to cut an umbilical cord.
Didier Deschamps' mother passed away. He needed to leave. Everyone understood. "Rest in peace." "Take all the time you need." Full compassion. No questions asked.
Read that again.
We are comfortable with a man leaving to bury his mother - but a man leaving to witness the birth of his child is controversial?
That’s an express show of the insensitivity that has become prevalent today because everyone has an opinion on everyone’s lives.
Death gets grace. Life doesn't.
That is the hypocrisy.
Once a celebrity dies, watch the entire timeline filled with people saying
"give people their flowers while they're alive" and "cherish your loved ones" but it's performance. It's paparazzi.
Because the moment a man actually chooses his family in real time, over work, over ambition, over the World Cup - suddenly he's irresponsible.
We only honour love when it's too late. We only respect presence when someone is gone.
If you ever find yourself having to choose between your family and your work, choose your family. 100% of the time. Not 99.
Workplace is ruthless. If Doku drops a stinker during a game, nobody cares about his sacrifice, HE WILL BE TAKEN OFF.
Your family IS the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
May God strengthen the family of the bereaved and may he add more joy and laughter to the family celebrating new life.

@AndileNcube The Ghana player tripped the England player though, see who made the first contact on other player, am I wrong?
English

@kayo_cyrus @ignyharaz2 I think no one is against a private entity doing it, the issue is that the old or existing road should remain as it is for those who dont want to pay.
English

@ignyharaz2 The total cost for the project runs into billions , GoK has no money to do it .they opt for PPP and kenyans to pay to use it meaning there is no borrowing more money to do it to me that's a good idea
English

Nothing said and explained will justify the tollingof motorists on Rironi.
Expressway is tolled at ksh. 35 per Km but kuna many other alternatives for walalahoi, very sure kuna soo many drivers who have never used it , 5 years after it was launched.
A stretch mainly overcrowded by long distance trailers and FH lorries from shamba heading to Nairobi should have an alternative for private deres going home.
I prefer 1 lane/ 6 being tolled buana.

@KaluhisKitchen cant stand that smell of eggs in other foods, mayai ipikwe na ikulwe separately
English

When eggs boil, they release lots of sulphur would get absorbed by the rice as it cooks. It's best to cook them separate,I promise you won't use as much time/effort as you think you will
Same applies to boiling eggs in brewing tea, kuharibu chai bure

They should start the choma process by wrapping the meat in foil so that it softens before getting roasted but they roast it first, then wrap it in foil last.
They are selling steamed meat as nyama choma. 😒
KIPRONO@Onorpik
The art of nyama choma is quickly getting lost in Kenya, all we get nowadays is boiled meat passed over the grill for a few minutes. 💔💔

@TouchlineX @MunyaradziMathe He didn’t even miss a single match! Imagine all those people who called him names!

🚨 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟: Statement from Belgium on Jeremy Doku:
"Congratulations to Jeremy Doku and his family on the birth of their first son, Praise. With the approval of and accompanied by one of our team doctors, Jeremy travelled to London to be with his wife for this unique occasion."
"Jeremy will rejoin the squad tomorrow evening in Seattle as preparations continue for next match against New Zealand."

@bintiswahiliya But you can not create much wealth from port charges, the imported good would have to mostly remain huko Mombasa, but it's just a transit port, they would need to make use of the port to produce or create something.

@Gilbert950027 That puts into question her seniority again ju how can you be at that level if you can't communicate well. Mtu anaenda podcast kujiexpose

@denniskioko the worst thing about the so called market places by the side of dual highways, is that there is no way you will reduce from around 100 to 50 by the time you see the sign, terrible design, have service lane to access the markets let the main highway flow
English

Hata wewe uko serious kweli?
Motorists ataona seedlings za hustler ama speed sign obstructed by another sign.
In Zambia, Namibia and South Africa signs are huge and unobstructed.
But Kenya sijui the best in the region blah blah doesn't know how to put up signs
channelyakele@channelyakele
@denniskioko There is a speed limit Kwa matunda but no camera and people are flying ikiwekwa watakuja huku kusema hakuna
English

@malobations @channelyakele @denniskioko have always found that very ambiguous, the definition of a town, why or how does a town develop kwa dual highway, it does not make sense, they should do what they did on southern bypass, weka service lanes for access to those centers
English

@channelyakele @denniskioko Traffic rule 101:
Built up residential areas and towns have speed limits rangng from 50 to 25 even 15kph.
When approaching them, the 70kph automatically kicks in and it's sequentially followed by the 50kph.
Kenyans are used to zooming past towns unless there are speed bumps 😁

What amazes me about this post is how many people devalue the insanely difficult skill of quickly backing a semi tractor trailer into an extremely tight and unforgiving stall in an urban, high traffic area. Few if any with a doctorate could do it. All these “oh I can back my boat up” imbeciles have never driven a semi in their life and have no idea.
People are arrogant and delusional.
Blue collar men will rule in the end.
English

My friend’s Dad has a part time job.
He’s had it for 30 years.
He does nothing but go to the warehouse of a major distributor, and when the semi drivers arrive, he jumps into the truck and backs them into the loading docks.
He does it perfectly, every time, first time, no matter how tight the fit.
The company says his job saves them an insane amount of money in damages and delays every year, they can’t duplicate what he does at other sites, and they don’t want him to quit…
because no one else can do it.
This is peak masculinity.
English

Do you guys actually live in this country?
Is this the same Kenya that has only about 3% of the population with a degree?
Ben Kairu@bkairu5
@Mwende_Mugambi Kenyan: Mimi ni graduate siezi zungusha kahawa na KDF kwa mtaa. Burundi: Hii kahawa na KDF inaingiza 500 per day. Kenyan: Burudians have taken our jobs. Halafu we are greedy, you want to shave me at 300 bob, in a day you get 3 customers. Guy from Congo 100 bob, gets 12 clients.
English

@Nganga_one @Epic_Novice You surely cannot have a full manufacturing line for a handful of people who can afford that, in the west it's almost everyone
English

@Footballtweet He knew the dates, why take up the chance he should just have left the spot for someone else

🚨👶 Jérémy Doku could temporarily leave Belgium's World Cup camp to be present for the birth of his son, and the debate has exploded across Europe. 🇧🇪
French journalist France Pierron didn't hold back:
🗣️ Pierron: "Are you seriously telling me these players have sacrificed everything to come to the World Cup, and you're leaving just to cut an umbilical cord? 😳
You're lucky enough to play in a World Cup. It's an incredible privilege, and hundreds of footballers would do anything to be in your position. That opportunity might never come around again in your life.
And you're going to throw it all away just to attend your child's birth?
It's a moment where the father isn't really needed. He has a symbolic role. You hold her hand and take a photo. And then what?
You're going to miss 10 hours, experience an emotional high, and be exhausted afterwards. You can't miss a World Cup.
Some people may have gone into debt just to get to the World Cup, maybe sacrificed everything to be there, and you're leaving to cut an umbilical cord..." 😳
The reaction has completely split fans. Some believe family comes before everything, while others see the World Cup as an opportunity that may never come around again. 🌍
What would you do: stay with your national team or be there for your son's birth? 🤔
