@hannahlape4life @sgruber91 What part of what he said here about your position is untrue? If it’s slander as you claim, it should be very simple to point to the lie.

This is a slanderous misrepresentation of pro-life political strategy—you’re due for some repentance. We have the same goal and the same convictions. Human life begins from the moment of conception and abortion must end. Full stop. “The Pro-life Establishment” is working to pass state and federal legislation that will criminalize abortionists and abortion drugs distributors, and we’re fighting like hell against the abortion drug. Slander is easy. It gets you clicks. But you’re walking in sin and for some reason spending time and energy publicly tearing down and lazily misrepresenting fellow Christians and pro-lifers. If you have serious questions or concerns about one political strategy over another, good. Questions are welcome. But this public slander is getting old, and the enemy is using it to sow discord and division among those who share concern for unborn children.

Pro-Choicer: Women should have legal immunity to kill their unborn child at any point in pregnancy with zero legal consequences, but if she kills the baby after birth, she should be prosecuted. Pro-Life Establishment: Women should have legal immunity to kill their unborn child at any point in pregnancy with zero legal consequences, but if she kills the baby after birth, she should be prosecuted. Yes, it’s the same legal position. And yes, it should make you scratch your head.

I make a couple posts on pro-life laws that HAVE worked over the years and abolitionists say they’re praying for my repentance. Hmm. I can’t fault them for their passion. Seems they want abortion eliminated just like I do. They do need restraint when judging other’s intentions.

I’m the director of a network of pregnancy clinics that provides extensive medical and support services to hundreds of women each year! We care about them deeply, as I’m sure you and your sister do. Knowing these women and caring about them is exactly why it is so appalling that abortion that abortion would be legal for them. We would never say that a law informing a woman’s conscience that she should not abort her born child is cruel toward women. We see that as a kindness both to the child and the mother. Why is abortion different? We know how horrible of a thing it is for a mother to abort her baby. Why would we not want the thing that reaches 100% of people (the law), to inform these confused women that the child in her womb is precious and must be protected? Everyone needs the direction and hope that is found only in Jesus, but why do we have any laws at all if sharing the Gospel while refusing to provide consequences is an appropriate solution to ending murder (or rape, or slavery, or trafficking, or any other horrible thing committed against another person)?

My sister worked in a pregnancy center & saw the faces of these women daily. She opposes prosecuting the woman due to what she saw. They need direction & hope that's only found in Jesus. We need revival so that sex isn't committed outside of marriage and families remain intact

Summary: Abolitionists lose public opinion when they propose measures that give the death penalty to women who get abortions. More babies dead will be the inevitable result. Pro-lifers want to pass all abortion restrictions that are possible in the short term as a way to incrementally abolish abortion over the long term. More babies saved will be the result.

One point that occurred to me in this exchange is that French did not consider that it is a mercy to create real deterrence for seeking an abortion. If there were legal penalties, including potential jail time for soliciting an abortion, most women would not choose it. This would prevent the mental health struggles that often result from an abortion, and it also prevents a woman from adding the spiritual weight of murder to her soul. You can disagree with abolitionist tactics, but I don’t see how anyone with proper moral formation could fail to see how making it a legal risk to procure an abortion would be merciful to both mother and child.

🚨 BREAKING: @DavidAFrench said he is “worried” about abortion abolitionists and their “profound lack of empathy.” @DavidAFrench described prosecuting abortion as murder for all parties willfully involved as “moral folly” and said comparing abortion law to homicide law is “apples and oranges.” The abolitionist movement calls for equal protection of the laws for preborn babies, ensuring that all humans made in the image of God, whether born or preborn, are protected by the same laws against murder. 🎥 @conservmillen

30-40% is the consistent changed mind percentage of abortion determined moms who come to a PRC for care. This is not just our internal stat, but reported by orgs like Human Coalition, who market to abortion determined moms and work with them across the country. That stat is for moms who come into a PRC. Sidewalk advocates do not turn 30-40% of AD moms away from abortion clinics, their stat is much much lower even with kind and clear offers of financial help (we also do sidewalk advocacy, have mobile clinics, and talk with many sidewalk advocacy orgs). So with stats, you have to look at the whole picture, not just the group that is willing to talk to you. Of the moms who are willing to talk to a sidewalk advocate or come into a PRC, if the need is really financial, then an org like yours (or the client services programs that we and many other orgs have) are extremely successful, and that is why we do what we do: to help those moms who do want to carry but have financial and support barriers! But by saying that 98% of moms choose life with the right financial help you’re ignoring how many moms will never get on the phone with you at all. They’ll walk right past the sidewalk advocates, often with choice words for those standing there offering help and pleading with them. They’ll see an ad for a pregnancy help org offering help but ignore it. They’ll come to a pregnancy help org but decline all of the help offered, see their baby on ultrasound, and state they are having their abortion anyway. If someone diverts from an abortion clinic to board a PL mobile clinic or onto the phone with you, they are looking for support and they will very likely choose life. If pregnancy help ministry didn’t work we wouldn’t do it. It is effective! We save hundreds of lives each year and reach families with the Gospel! But we need to be honest that it’s plugging a few holes in a bucket with hundreds. Abortions continue en masse and the numbers are rising. So we should keep doing everything we can to save lives while realizing we can’t make something unthinkable that is perfectly legal to do, in all 50 states. And that is why we will do everything we can to advance laws of equal protection, because laws that rightfully inform the conscience are compassionate for both child and mother. 💕

First, thank you for referring moms to us! 🩷 We used to ask PRCs to only refer abortion-determined moms, but now our programs have expanded to help even more moms choose life. The moms we help usually have pills in hand or an abortion already scheduled. Sidewalk Advs and friends/family are also big referrers for us, and many times these moms have not even considered trying a PRC for help. We're also curious to know where the 35% stat comes from? We'll look more deeply into this video today to understand this better. It was brought to our attention by another person who tagged us.

It's not a financial thing. Pregnancy center director @GinnaCross says that even when offered abundant resources, the majority of women seeking abortion will continue on and murder their babies.

You provide incredible support, no doubt, and we’ve referred patients to you many times. We have a case management team that provides similar financial and emotional support. But you’re missing something important here with your stat: once a PRC has been able to get a mom on the phone with you, the majority of the convincing work has already been done and they are ready to choose life with support. You’re not accounting for all of the abortion determined women who decline the help completely because they are going to get an abortion anyway. If they get on the phone with you, they want the help. That’s the 35%. What is the answer for the rest who don’t? Including the majority of those aborting don’t go to a PRC at all?

@AbolitionistFAA @GinnaCross We have found the opposite is true. Our model of comprehensive financial and emotional support has a 98% success rate of canceling abortions. When a PRC refers a mom to us we are able to fill in the gaps that the PRC is unable to provide.

Why is Modern Evangelicalism a Failure? Christianity is the most powerful civilizational force known to mankind because we have the law and the gospel. But modern evangelicalism is decadent because we only care about the gospel. Christians have standards of conduct articulated in the law. We also have grace and mercy through the gospel for when we inevitably fall short. There is redemption and forgiveness despite the evils we have committed, and yet the standards of conduct are not negated in the process. That is why anything built on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ, whether an individual life or an entire civilization, will flourish with increasing degrees of goodness, beauty, and truth. But in modern evangelicalism, which in many ways deviates from historic Christianity, we have functionally abused the gospel to downplay the need for obedience and order, despite the Scriptures repeatedly warning against exactly this tendency. We talk about mercy to the exclusion of justice. We uphold grace and scoff at repentance. We only confess the elements of the Christian faith that are seen as easy and soft, rejecting the elements seen as weighty, difficult, or harsh. While such a truncated gospel is often presented within modern evangelicalism as necessary to reach nonbelievers, the irony is that nonbelievers cannot stand this version of Christianity. They can immediately tell that the vision of human life articulated by modern evangelicalism cannot hold society together. We live in a crumbling nation that is desperate for moral sanity and civilizational direction. But we have ironically shelved the very elements of our faith that address these exact realities. Christians need to affirm both the law and the gospel, instead of trying to reject the former while only emphasizing the latter. We must continue preaching the gospel of redemption in Jesus Christ, which is the ultimate need of every human soul and every civilization. We must also uphold the law, casting a positive vision for moral order while confronting the many evils of our day. We must once more become the greatest civilizing force known to mankind, orienting our dying world toward the God who creates, sustains, and redeems.

Baby Daisy Anne Haymes has landed! 45 minutes ago we welcomed my third child into the world! She is beautiful. Just like her mother. It is nearly inconceivable to me but almost half the country believes that little Daisy wasn’t fully human 46 minutes ago. They believe that mothers should have the right to put their own babies down like animals. With every new child my wife and I bring into this world I am orders of magnitude more motivated to abolish abortion in these United States. As it stands, my children are slated to inherit a blood soaked America that is under the judgment of God. The blood of 80 million little babies cries out for justice. By God, we will put an end to the bloodshed and establish equal justice under the law for the unborn! We must protect the fatherless and speak up for the voiceless.

Read this to understand just a glimpse of how establishment politics works. Get behind @MontyFritts4TN for TN Governor! He is the God-honoring, for the people, conservative candidate.
Tennessee Stands@tennesseestands

We’re not letting this go without you knowing the truth. Here were the amounts of tickets purchased for the event by the campaigns. @VoteMarsha - 200 tickets ($40,000) PAC for Marsha - 100 tickets ($20,000) @JohnRoseforTN - 100 tickets ($20,000) @MontyFritts4TN - 0 The straw poll was bought and paid for with Marsha loyalists packing the room. The assertion by the campaign of a 70% victory without these facts stated plainly is a gross misrepresentation of the event.

🚨BREAKING: Rep. Rande Worthen, the man who killed the Abolition of Abortion in Oklahoma Act, has announced that he will not be seeking re-election, and directly addresses the topic of his vote on the abolition bill in his announcement! "Though some may try to claim they forced me out of running again, I have been considering it for some time now. I have been a supporter of every pro-life bill before the legislation during my time in office. But when their bill came before my committee which require charging girls as young as 13-17 years of age with murder. I knew I would not hear a bill that would require that result even when they were victims of rape or incest." Yes, we would try to claim that, and addressing it in his announcement to not seek re-election certainly confirms it. Worthen frames his opposition to justice in emotional terms, but we all know the truth. Murdering anyone should be illegal for everyone. Murder laws are the greatest possible deterrent to mothers, young or old, from becoming murderers. Rande would have them become murderers in fact but not in law, ultimately creating more murderers, and allowing for more murder. This is great news for the cause of justice in Oklahoma. Legislators, be on notice. If you stand in the way of justice, you will lose your seat.

@GinnaCross @AbolitionWomen @prolifecoffee There’s an easy way to avoid this @GinnaCross . Don’t donate to pro life groups. Then you’re not donating to groups that oppose abolition. Even unintentionally. This is kind of the point. Intentional or not. He did it. And the unwise approach to labeling IS the problem.

Opinions are not slander. My subjective opinion of what happened is not any more slanderous than your assertion that she was not trying to triumphantly out them. I did not accuse her of lying, that itself is a lie. I stated that she accused them of funding the failure of HB 570 without evidence, and she did exactly that. No evidence was provided when she made her comment and was not available when I made my reply. Nothing was produced until today, and indeed even that produced “evidence” is pretty shaky when it’s based on a statement release literally 9 days ago. But none of that seems to matter to anyone.
