It seems I’m in the minority on this one too, but here I go anyway. His cleats are only up because his leg was artificially elevated by rolling on top of the ball. Shouldn’t have been a red. VAR stinks.

It would have been much better if the entire World Cup was played just in Mexico. Mexico has a strong and rich football culture and passionate fans. Americans and Canadians don’t care about football and would rather watch lazy and long games like baseball and NFL.
Add to that the visa and screening issues in USA which has already made it one of the worst WCs in the modern history even before the ball is kicked.
