Her words are common sense which is why they make sense.
But consider this... you are required to pass a test to get a licence to drive a car. You are required to get a licence to get married. Why then are couples allowed to bring children into this world without a licence? A licence to have children might imply that the mental suitability of the parents has been scrutinized and any past history of domestic abuse, given that this will have to be endured by the children].

Memorial Day for our fallen, Veterans’ Day for our not-yet-fallen, Flag Day, military spouse appreciation day, and likely several more I’m forgetting.
If you actually want to do something for vets, make politicians stop using us as excuses and scapegoats.
