@bitcoinwell Sure, there is corruption everywhere to be certain. I would argue against a moral equivalency between the two. The US hasn't massacred millions of its own citizens through revolution nor famine and for the time being generally respects the rights of the individual.

@GnosisMacro I mean it's no different in the US. Both governments are horribly corrupt. Can't really fault him for that.

Ray Dalio is telling you Bitcoin isn't a safe haven. "There is only one gold," he says. Gold mines 1.5% new supply a year. Bitcoin issues 0.83%. The man who wrote Principles for Navigating Big Debt Crises; the man whose fund hedges currency debasement with bullion in Singapore vaults is telling you the asset that's already harder than gold isn't a safe haven. Because central banks won't touch it. That's the point. A safe haven that the central bank approves of isn't a safe haven. It's a permissioned asset with extra steps. Dalio knows this. He raised his recommended Bitcoin allocation to 15% last summer. The press tour is the cover. The allocation is the conviction. There is only one gold. There's also only one asset harder than gold and it gets harder every four years.

This New York Times "article" about Israel is such a journalistic atrocity that I actually feel stupid reading it out loud. If everyone at the NYT who is responsible for this is not fired, then the publication will lose whatever shred of credibility it has left.

Hard truth: bitcoin:native at $80,000 - not buying territory. Bitcoin price zones mapped by emotion: - VERY EXPENSIVE: $95k+ - EXPENSIVE: $72-95k ← we're here - LIKELY BOTTOM: $52-72k - FEAR ZONE: $32-52k - PANIC: below $32k My rule: lower the zone, bigger the position. At current price: I wait At likely bottom: I buy At panic levels: I buy aggressively Real accumulation happens when you're terrified, not comfortable. Bookmark this. If market crashes and everyone's scared, this tells you to add.

@BigpictureBTC Saylor is the financialized world wrapping BTC in attempt to save his under-performing software company. Quite the pivot.

Bitcoin is money. Saylor frames Bitcoin as a speculative digital asset with no immediate utility beyond its potential appreciation. That narrative is misleading. Bitcoin is not merely a high-risk investment or a digital commodity. It is the first form of sound, decentralized money: scarce, portable, divisible, censorship-resistant, and independent of any government or corporation. By presenting Bitcoin primarily as a treasury reserve asset or a vehicle for capital gains, Saylor reinforces the misconception that Bitcoin’s value lies only in speculation. This obscures its true purpose as a monetary system designed to preserve purchasing power and enable sovereign ownership of wealth. That is the core issue. Bitcoin should be understood first and foremost as money, not as a speculative asset. Any narrative that downplays this risks distorting its fundamental purpose and slowing broader adoption.
Peter Schiff@PeterSchiff

.@Saylor says Bitcoin is not a currency and never has to become one. He claims Bitcoin is property, like commercial real estate. But commercial real estate has actual value. You can use it yourself or rent it out to someone else. What value does Bitcoin have as digital property?

@BitcoinArchive Weird how price moves up after purchasing $200 million an hour for 4 hours, as if all that supply didn't just leave the books...stupid, that is exactly how market dynamics work.

MICHAEL SAYLOR: If Strategy's Bitcoin buys/sells move the price: "We have announced we are going to buy $42B of $BTC, the market goes nowhere." "We have literally bought $200M an hour, the price does not move up." "We have bought 200M an hour for 4 hours, turn it off and the price trades up." "The market has its own dynamic. We are definitely not driving the price."

@JacobKinge Still believe in BTC, his retardation and consistent buying at the top without a managed cost basis is good for us. I don't think there should be such an intense concentration of BTC in the hands of one entity. Let's just hope compounding works its magic to unravel any scam.

Michael Saylor switching bearish on Bitcoin and admitting he will soon dump hundreds of millions on BTC is the biggest red flag Bitcoin has faced in over a decade. It should be a CLEAR warning signal to SELL everything and get as far away from it as possible. When even the biggest promoters are flipping on their old promises, you know it’s over.

This guy shows how the same two massive investment firms — Vanguard and BlackRock — are the #1 and #2 shareholders in AutoZone, O’Reilly Auto Parts, and Advance Auto Parts (the chain currently closing 700 stores). Then he flips to Ford and GM and reveals they own those automakers too. He explains they profit from the destruction of the old aftermarket repair world and from building the new AI-powered “kill switch” vehicles coming by 2027. Managing over $20 trillion combined, they’re top shareholders in essentially the entire S&P 500. “It’s a closed loop,” he says. “This isn’t a conspiracy — it’s literally a business model.” I’ll be honest — I had no idea these two firms were the major players behind both the auto parts stores I’ve shopped at for years and the car companies themselves. It really makes you stop and think. What do you think about these two companies owning both the problem and the solution in the auto world?

🇵🇱🇸🇪 Polish police have arrested four Swedes for robbing a Norwegian tourist in Gdańsk. The perpetrators threatened the man with a knife, stole his phone, and took several thousand Norwegian kroner. The men, aged 23, 19, 18, and 17, were arrested and taken to a police station, where they were charged with armed robbery. They could face up to 20 years in prison.

They’re locked up because we are stealing more than other races. We need to become much better on this. The stores didn’t just wake up and say, “let’s lock these up from black people.” This is a result of us stealing. It’s that simple.
