What would I need to do in order to be considered a voice worth considering when it comes to Bitcoin Core discussions? This is a real question. I'm a technical person. I can read and write code. I've done it in the past. My career has taken me to other places, where I specialize in other things, but I can understand code perfectly fine. Would I need to actively contribute to discussions on GitHub? Would I have to make some number of PRs? At what point would my ACK or NACK be considered to have any weight? I spend my time on other things than writing code, including working on Bitcoin education. Does that mean my view on technical Bitcoin matters doesn't hold any weight when it comes to the direction of Bitcoin? What would it take for someone like me to be considered worth listening to in technical discussions? Again, this is a real question. I'd really like to know the answer. I would be happy to get some practical ideas on the topic.

Presumably you still have the keys which control that utxo, you did not lose those in the bip. You take your keys and load a wallet like sparrow wallet that allows BIP-322 (Generic Message Signing). You sign from that address creating a 'proof of keys' and attaching that proof to a utxo thus migrating to the stack of your choice. Out-Of-Protocol-SPEC recovery tx, aka the OOPS.
