@JenMsft What would be great, being able to turn off the ads (or everything on the lock screen). At this point just charge us a monthly fee to remove them. Sometimes you just want a lock screen to be a lock screen.

@JenMsft Looks nice, though if we're going to keep filling up the lock screen, maybe let it grow a bit more for longer artist/titles? Should it not be in line with the wifi/battery icons? Feels like it's outside of safe screen area (if that's still a thing)

Though agree with @WithinRafael desktop apps are dead (maybe except util/single user). Make the cloud & web app, wrap it if you need desktop. Flutter if you need specific interactions on mobile.

@thenickrandolph @WithinRafael @GoldenTao @UnoPlatform Also remember at the time around asp.net mvc and wpf timeline approx 2/3rd of Microsoft developers were on vb or came from vb prior to c# So that was millions forced to make a decision .. move with a new herd or start to peel off to something else

O.o XAML. Was. Never. Meant. To. Be. Coded. it was made available for tweaks/adjustments.. .but... in 2024 if you're all still coding XAML... there was a huge wrong turn made somewhere. The tools were supposed to have kicked in by now to remove this. eg: do you edit docx files when you make a document? do you sit down and write code to adjust figma designs in figma?

@mattupover Possibly if they are separate audio sessions. If it's all in the browser you might struggle, but right-click on the app for the breakdown of sessions and see if the real-time levels are separate for notifications/calls and give it a go moving them to different devices.

@thesamparr Even then you're going to find all the odd edge cases with email clients, might look great in gmail and then broken in all the other clients.

The solution, it seems: just make a custom template

Something that's shockingly hard to do on every email software (Hubspot, Convertkit, whatever): make the email look EXACTLY like a gmail email (but with an unsubscribe link)

@elonmusk @sampullara Really? That was used back when Twitter was open and allowed 3rd party clients to help build out their experiences. It shared what app you were using and allowed discovery of new ways to use Twitter.

Btw, I’d like to apologize for Twitter being super slow in many countries. App is doing >1000 poorly batched RPCs just to render a home timeline!
