@NerdcapK @KK_Investing Most likely that 2027s holders are shorting the stock to hedge their long bonds, because the 2027s are unsecured so if things go south for whatever reason and they can’t refi, those bonds rank junior to rest of its debt. Trading at par means they have a lot of downside

Is the current Secretary of the Treasury really this misinformed? He just said that if you have an old gold or silver certificate, you can bring it to Fort Knox and claim your metal. That’s false. Gold certificates have not been redeemable for gold since 1933, and silver-certificate redemption ended in 1968. If Bessent is this ignorant about the history and status of U.S. currency, why should we trust his assurances about the gold supposedly held at Fort Knox?

@JJNews002 You’ve got it - data center NIMBYism benefits sellers of existing data centers, on balance. It means less new supply being built, more bidders for existing facilities (with access to power, etc.)

If we see more of this, hard to see it not benefit data center owners looking to sell like $CCOI

Update: I had a slice of Joe's and it was everything I wanted it to be. Five stars. Farther down the street I also had a slice of not Joe's just so I could appreciate Joe's more. Even not Joe's was alright, bad New York pizza is still good. Contemplating not having a bagel for breakfast and just having more Joe's.
