A MAGA was blaming Biden for everything and blocked me after my reply. Here's my reply: ______ COVID forced Trump to print money to oblivion. I don't see how he could have avoided this to be fair, he did what he could in a tough situation. But this overprinting left a horrible situation to Biden and Powell. They did a great job tackling it without crashing markets. 2022 was bear but nothing disastrous. Just a regular correction. Remember all the expert analysts on TV back in late 2022 saying 2023 would be red and we're entering a recession? None of that happened. The problem is that businesses and people got used to cheap money at 2% rates and see 6% rates as high. Objectively, rates are perfectly normal at 6% but they see them as high. So here we are. Inflation is rising so Powell should RAISE rates, but because of poor jobs data Powell may be forced to cut rates. Bloody dual mandate makes it hard. ______ So the guy called me an idiot and blocked me. I would have liked him to instead explain to me what I'm getting wrong here. Can anyone point it out? I'm here to learn.

This feels similar to a create/redeem fees for an ETF. If they actually have to facilitate creating and redeeming USDC based on one way flow from someone they are prolly incurring some sort of cost to do that create redeem. My guess is they’re offloading that cost … and then some. lol. Guessing the “then some” is to disincentivize the one way flow on their platform?
