Also, reading and Westbury passengers I spoke with said they’d had conflicting reasoning for train delays. So all leads to suspicion

@EverydayJ_2K @goodtimegibbo @GWRHelp Why don't both of you have respect - someone (sorry to be graphic) was struck by a train between Taunton and Tiverton Parkway. Staff and the driver are having to cope with this whilst maintaining professionalism to passengers onboard!

@GWRHelp and also, 50 mins is not true, I have been stood at Castle Cary since 0715 and not one train has been through, I'm not genius, but I know that is more than 50 mins.... yet more GWR BS!

@goodtimegibbo services may divert via an alternative route extending journey times. If you are at Castle Cary / Bruton / Frome you are advised to board the next available service to Taunton and change for services towards Bristol and onwards to London Paddington. If you are at Westbury 2/3

@GWRHelp no, correction.... All trains from Castle Cary are not coming, so there is no way to get anywhere, don't make out there's a solve, your useless service is completely at a standstill

@goodtimegibbo travelling to Reading / London Paddington you are advised to board the next available service to Bath Spa and change for alternative services. You may use your ticket onboard First Bus route D2 between Frome and Bath at no extra cost. - Matt 3/3

@GWRHelp How can the lines be blocked in both directions by a faulty train going North?

@goodtimegibbo Hello there. I'm sorry about the issues this morning. A fault on a train at Bruton means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between Castle Cary and Westbury may be delayed by up to 50 minutes or revised. Where possible, some Great Western Railway 1/3
