Honestly, the biker has no survival instincts at all... Once they started break-checking you and following you, peel the fuck off, and after they pass you, take another road or do anything but get the fuck away from these dudes. You have a bike‼️ USE IT to get tf out of the situation. It could have ended wayyy worse lol 🤦🏽‍♂️

@beefy5layer0803 Lol, tekken doesnt require strange button inputs. You can easily arrange buttons to make the flow of tekken better. Its usually combo strings which are a little different than multiple button inputs.

@GotDayum Refunded it. I play Tekken. Combos or strange button presses aren’t new to me. The controls suck in CD.

My first impressions of Crimson Desert after 4 hours: - The biggest flaw is the story, the writing is simply abysmal. Not one character is interesting; Kliff has no real history, motivations, an interesting personality, or anything that drives him. Dialogue in the main quest is across the board boring. I wish I could skip through dialogue like in other RPGs, fast forward is honestly not fast enough. - Combat is great, it’s very aggressive, and it feels like running enemies down with how many different abilities they give you to mess them up, especially the martial art moves that have you throwing and tackling enemies. - Controls are strange; I am getting used to them, but they actively ignore all modern game design standards. They aren't unplayable, but it’s one aspect that needs re-thinking in a future update. - The world is gorgeous, exploration is a blast. On the way to a quest, I found a weird painted wall in a pit. After investigating it, I realized it was hiding a secret room with a puzzle that required me to find its clues from the nearby region. It was a really interesting emergent gameplay moment that involved no markers. - Quest design quality varies, main quests so far have felt like mediocre fetch quests, while a couple of side quests have had genuinely interesting writing and characters, with cool objectives. - While visuals are great on my PS5 Pro in performance mode, there is a strong amount of pop-in and some strange lighting issues in certain scenes, especially with weird noise on things. Also, frame-rate drops below 60FPS in towns. - User Interface design is not good, I have no idea why the inventory system is not properly sorted between weapons/armor/etc., like pretty much all other RPGs, and instead has every item showing all at once with no proper separation. It needs a complete redesign. Overall I am enjoying Crimson Desert but its very far from perfect, I haven't explored much yet as I am mostly sticking to getting through the tutorial phase first and just unlocked the Greymanes camp, so expect more thoughts later.

@Joseph_Witty Bro, boomers need to give games like these a rest. It just means the games are above your gaming IQ. I say that as a boomer. I beat this boss with the female character easy! Took me like 4-5 tries.

Got smoked in 2nd round of Archery in Crimson Desert. Find it a bit difficult on controllers. Were you able to beat it 3 times consecutively?

@CrimsonDesert_ Remove stamina consumption out of combat Literally just makes the game more enjoyable What's the point of making massive sprawling landscapes with high mountaintops if you can't get to the top of them and then glide down? Oppressive useless restriction

Can't believe that guy rage quit over this miner boss. Crimson Desert Boss: 3/76 2 skills made it easy. 1st your Force Palm, use it when he is about to drill 2nd perfect dodge - dodge and boom 4 attacks. If you miss a palm attack, run around to avoid drill. Rinse and repeat!

@MarrkyMark33 @BlueThunderReal Im playing on controller and I have no issues. It just takes time to understand. Plus you may need to adjust your settings on controller to make it more fluent. Sometimes, its okay to put down the sticks if a game is too complicated!

Its the combat man. The combat is just so painful. The story is flat out boring too, but forgivable with how vast and full the world is though for me. Exploring it is actually fun. But everytime im in combat I suddenly hate the game. I'm not even fighting the bosses or the mobs. I'm fighting my controller to get my character / camera to do what im telling it to.

I streamed Crimson Desert yesterday for a few hours. It was all really positive engagement. But once the Steam reviews turned negative, suddenly the chat was flooded with trolls talking about how bad the game was (though they obviously had not played it yet) The hive mind mentality of gaming culture in 2026 is insufferable lol

@Mapocolops I feel like once everyone figures out the optimal routes...the extra time will allow for more exploring and figuring out things. I do think some things need to be adjusted. Like the bubbles meta and self revive meta. Overall, I think the CA looks fun....I may not experience it

Honestly, true. Long winded but passionate, constructive rant ahead: It’s a mixture of skill issue but also time available. We can watch the unemployed and the full time streamers experience this stuff so easily but for everyone else, this is tough. It’s cool as hell but tough. First impressions on Cryo is that I can’t stop thinking about it and Bungie deserve massive props. I love this game to pieces and heavily enjoy the idea of preparing for a weekend raid on the Marathon with acquired loot. But the amount of steps, keys, RNG, chaos of sweaty runners…in only 30 MINUTES! And then only for the weekend! I get a feeling this will filter out so many people leaving only the best of the best runners to be a brick wall for new runners trying to finish it. Would love if it was an hour long session maybe. I’m conflicted because I absolutely love the concept of this challenge mixed with a raid like experience, Bungie have essentially given us FPS Dark Souls and a dedicated hardcore experience. But I can’t help but think about a middle ground that is still punishing but more accessible at the same time. If it’s hard and I lose my loot I am cool with that, I just want more people to be able to reach the boss and exfil the map. Maybe some form of “Cryo (story)” queue for lack of a better term that has intentionally worse loot but is “easier” to complete for those of us wanting to experience the story, unlock codex entries, fight a cool PvE boss and feel a part of the event successfully. Idk. I think the game needs more people to be able to play it and complete stuff and not less, for the game to continue to succeed in terms of a player base. A dedicated passionate community like this deserves to grow even bigger. (Why I also think arena PvP and PvE modes are a good idea to populate the game with even more people that wouldn’t play an extraction shooter.) I can love this game, play it daily and still not touch that Compiler for maybe a couple months or ever and then the seasonal reset and FOMO with potential story/map changes are gonna upset me, which feels unfortunate. I’ll be trying my best to get there but doing so much in only a 30 minute timespan is brutal. And I LOVE Destiny raids, so the goblin brain is irrationally wishing this was a PvE raid in the game because the mechanics, the map, the whole fucking atmosphere of this map ROCKS and I wish more people could experience it (same with Destiny raids but y’know, can of worms). I’m obsessed and want to spend more time exploring it but with a constant threat of 5k min loadout wipes and a skill ceiling that requires me to become a full time astronaut to reach…it stings that even people loving the game this much will even struggle heavily to reach the endgame. TLDR; Bungie make cool hard game and I wish I had a hyperbolic time chamber to be top tier, hope to see a middle ground to balance challenge but also accessibility for the community. Also Ben Starr is sexy I mean Durandal knows how to set the scene. Maybe I’ll change my mind over time but this is day one thoughts. @MarathonDevTeam @Ziegler_Dev #marathontakeover #focusedfeedback

My legit ONE complaint about CA so far is that I know that I will NEVER fight a compiler purely because how the game is made & tbh that kinda sucks, I wish fighting Compilers where a little more all player friendly because to me rn, I’m never seeing one in game.

Idea for @MarathonTheGame: Exploration mode. Separated map instance for all maps in the game. Players who load in spawn with no gear. No enemies. No loot. No combat. No access to secrets. 30:00 minute timer. No rewards or XP. Players can freely explore the map to learn its layout before exfilling at any time.

@MarathonDevTeam Good. I think this is needed because some will call this "tech" or "high lvl play" and its neither. It just looks cool if you can pull it off. If the game didnt have a heat system this would be fine, but the movement is exploiting the heat system.

@Gamesager But, honestly...its not that "high lvl" as some may think. Decent players will shut that shyt down...it just makes it more annoying to deal with because it just causes more de-sync on the player who's trying to aim and kill them.

@Gamesager Like, I get that people want to be "cool/popular " because they think they found something in the game that suppose to be considered "high level play" or "tech". These are just exploits covered as being high lvl gameplay. Its not intended so, it shouldnt be used. Idc either way

When movement tech is something that isn’t part of the base game, it’s something not everyone is doing so casuals don’t complain about movement, taking it out just ruins a portion of the game at the top level without actually helping people who don’t do it since they never see it
