The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

I’ve pastored for 32 years. I’ve seen a lot of brokenness that has been healed by the transforming power of the gospel. We’ve never tolerated immorality of men or women inside the church. We’ve spoken prophetically against our godless culture. And we’ve preached a gospel that can redeem and cleanse people. I rejoice over the marriages in my church that began with two virgins and have a godly marriage. That’s true of my own marriage. But I also rejoice over the marriages in my church where one spouse or the other had a promiscuous past, got saved, married, and have a beautiful godly marriage. I never considered their marriage to be less ideal than my own. Every marriage has its struggles because it involves two sinners. Don’t let the godless culture we live in cause you to diminish the power of the gospel to completely transform someone. Don’t let a culture that celebrates immorality weaken your celebration of a prodigal that comes home. Don’t be like the elder brother! Shepherding people is messy because we are messy sinners. The good news is the gospel is able to cleanse us and make us new!

Also, I will never stop proclaiming what God has done in my life. God took the worst (me) and made me clean. He blessed my life when I didn’t deserve it and changed me and continues to change me. I have an amazing marriage. Three beautiful children. A very wholesome life. ♥️

This is mine and my husband’s testimony as well. I was a horrible sinner before I met him, and for some unknown reason (it was God), he still married me. I said I was a Christian but didn't know what that meant. He was really a Christian, while I was a poser. He realized sometime after we were married that I was not actually saved. It took me five years to truly be born again of the Spirit of God. The blood of Jesus Christ is the power of God. Either that is enough or it isn't.. Those saying any differently, don't know Christ frankly IMHO.

If you think that women who have a dark past are "damaged goods" and aren't worthy of marriage to a godly man, just wait 'til I tell you about the past life of the bride Christ has taken for himself.

Are we just going on the mom’s word that this kid was even a bully? She sounds psychotic. A Utah mom hunted down and confronted an 11YO child while he was riding his bike, and forced him into her car. She then drove him to her house without his parent’s knowledge and held him hostage until he apologized to her son. Even after he did, she threatened to have her husband beat him up. This woman should not have custody of children.
