@Top100Rick @Eaglebauer Yeah, previous wins at the Western Open, Buick Open, New England, Greater Milwaukee, ect. are all "meaningless".
I hear the winners of those events are so embarrassed that they recycled the metal on the trophies and returned their winnings.
English

@Eaglebauer That’s the point.
If LIV folds, the wins will have zero historical relevance.
But the money is still there. That’s a good thing.

There's only a handful of golf reporters with @BobHarig's institutional knowledge, industry-wide contacts, experience, news sense and skill. One of the very best in the business--and an instant asset for whatever entity smart enough to immediately hire him.
English

@AndrewKirbyGolf The PGA Tour has zero interest in expanding internationally.
Their good little American propagandist media and simp-bots are of course all now collectively claiming "2028 is the year" they'll expand.
The Eurocucks like Irish on Tour will get nothing and like it.

Great win to Niemann in LIV Golf Korea
For those people who wanted a world golf tour (many here in Oz) - but hated on LIV and are glad about where it’s at - You really didn’t think this through
There won’t be some alternative world tour and you won’t be watching the best playing in Korea or other overseas destinations
It’s back to the same old PGAT cartel
English

@JeffSmithGolf Only very stupid people who know nothing about golf agree with this propagandist.

On 5 Clubs, Golf Channel’s Dr. Damon Hack, noted for his reliably fair and balanced LIV Golf analysis 😂, diagnosed Bryson DeChambeau as “lost,” “mentally not there,” w “a raging mind” 🙄
DeChambeau, meanwhile, has 2 LIV wins this season, finished 3rd in Virginia, ranks 2nd in the league behind only Rahm, and has posted more top-10s over the last 8 majors than everyone on PGA Tour except Xander and Scottie.
Always count on a measured take from Eamon Lynch’s 🍻sidekick

@MrGolfModel This is objectively the worst, most incorrect tier list ever constructed.

Doesn't matter what they do with the schedule someone will complain. It's impossible to concurrently satisfy tournament organisers, sponsors, media rights partners, players, and fans.

This was absolutely cringe from Dustin Johnson

🚨🏌️😬 #WATCH — Dustin Johnson was asked about his personal view on the PIF abandoning LIV Golf: “Long LIV Golf!” 💀

@JeffSmithGolf Chad Dumb, a producer on this show, is a huge jerk and knows nothing about golf.
English

@fried_egg_golf American golf media will write novels to defend even the mildest criticism towards the PGAT.
That's what you gotta do when you're a paid propagandist.

"Jokes aside, evaluating the renovation solely through the lens of this year’s scoring onslaught is not entirely fair to Wadkins. Conditions were mild across all four days, with hardly a breath of wind to defend the course and significant rainfall both leading into the tournament and during the first two days. Three of the four rounds were played under lift, clean, and place rules.
"In Wadkins’ defense, the philosophy behind many of his changes comes from the right place. He upgraded the drainage system, added fairway bunkers at more appropriate PGA Tour driving distances, overhauled the agronomy — most notably replacing Ryegrass rough with Bermuda — repositioned multiple green sites closer to natural hazards like on Nos. 9 and 15, and spiced up many of the green complexes with more severe contouring. It is a better golf course now than it was before.
"But both before and after the renovation, the most glaring issue with TPC Craig Ranch, aside from the asinine spending, remains the ease of putting. Though Wadkins added more slope to the greens, the sections intended for hole locations are extremely flat and uninteresting, an unfortunate and misguided PGA Tour stipulation. (The forgiving Zoysia fairways also mute the course’s difficulty, especially around the greens.)"

Spot on.. People work for a living and want to a fun round of golf with their buddies. The roller skaters need to play pickle ball so they can get home to mow the yard and do chores. .. or just quit after 9. .. what is better is they go into the bar for 2 hours. Relax and enjoy
Mark Clayton@mclayton1970
Ill play a 6.5 hour round of golf i dont give a flying fuck about your time or pace of play. I paid the same money you did. If you want to play in under 4 hours, buy your own course or join an elite CC.

@Top100Rick I like Clark because the neoliberal, propagandist American media (who know nothing about golf) hate him.
The correct take is the opposite of what those hate-mongers say 99% percent of the time.
English

@ANGC_burner This is the first time, and likely last time, this bit has landed.
Kudos and LOL.

Shrink whatever "Open some grape" is 🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️
Adam Schupak@AdamSchupak
How is Wyndham Clark going to celebrate his win tonight? Said he has some good friends and family for dinner at Carbone’s. “Open some grape and see where the night takes us.” 💪
English

@Top100Rick If Bryson behaved like Scottie we'd never hear the end of it.
English

@tomandmartys @GolfDigest @CPowers14 The same Chris Powers at Golf Digest who knows absolutely NOTHING about golf? That Chris Powers?
English

@BrianKirschner_ Only American media propagandists, who hate everything minus Scottie, Tiger, and their boyfriend Rory, think Clark's major is a fluke.
English

@ReillyRick Of course dipshit Rick thinks that was their actual motive, not just having fun.
English

Even with Tiger there was nothing like Arnie's Army. His fans would paint targets on their shirts and stand behind the green, in hopes that if his ball hit them it would bounce back onto the putting surface.
