Many years ago I hurt my knee playing sports. I was referred to the orthopedist for one of the local pro teams. After keeping me waiting for 2.5 hours, he diagnosed a cartilage tear and recommended surgery. I was so mad at his manner and tardiness I left without scheduling. The next week I got a second opinion from a much younger doc who was likely more current on the recent medical literature. He looked at the same MRI. He said he could do surgery now but his advice was to wait 30 days and see if it healed on its own. It did. Medical reversal is when a practice that became widely used is later shown to be ineffective or even harmful. Examples like meniscus surgery show the need to keep gathering evidence. A not immaterial part of the practice of modern medicine doesn't improve health, and may be net harmful.

@markgoldbridge This season there were a couple of hairpulls that got a red, and a couple which didn't. The inconsistency in refereeing is the biggest problem in the EPL. Could it be that there are different levels of hairpulling?? This is in a pathetic state indeed.

@FPLTracta @ToryWipeout CPIH was created because RPI is a completely misleading measure. RPI is known and proven to overstate inflation. The fact the BMA and doctors continue to use it completely discredits them, and the public are starting to realise the obvious.

@ToryWipeout You're as bad as the Tories using CPIH you absolute fraud. It's the lowest measure for inflation. Even internationally would use CPI and the BMI uses RPI. The difference between those measures can be 15% but you prefer to mislead showing 1 line for multiple salary strands.

@elonmusk This is horrific. But I am conflicted on this issue as I truly believe that stirring up hate with no solution is not the answer, but instead a narrative that the super rich push. However, if clamping down on immigration stops all incidents like this then of course I am for it.

They were able to live their lives in peace and tranquility, but only because they were protected by the hard men of Gondor. What happened to the nice man who was brutally murdered while walking his dog will happen to all of England if the tide of illegal immigration is not turned. It is time for the English to ally with the hard men, like Tommy Robinson, and fight for their survival or they shall surely all perish.
