@Hafaz_the_1st There are some things you will never understand if you're not a medical doctor. You can add different context to it to suit your bias but that knowledge gap go still show. Just stick to your jobs. This your post is also confirming the same thing we're talking about

So does this mean that our almighty Men of Clinical Wisdom who diagnose Ulcers day-in day-out (without doing Endoscopy if I may add) in this our lovely Tinubu republic are doing guess work?

I would have considered the nay sayers serious if change of course wasn’t a mad hustle after 200 level in most of our campuses That was part of the top prayer points then in the campus fellowship. Then 90% of our top flyers purchase a change of course or were chasing a CGPA worthy of a DE People even chose to lose a year to join medicine I remember the 200 level students then that had to join us in 100 level to do some courses because they wanted to switch. The hustle was terribly insane. Those guys were even more serious than us Some universities also give slot to the best students in related departments to change to medicine. There are about two universities that started medicine and they recruited the first two sets by converting the best 5 -10 students across related departments to medicine and guess what? No one was known to reject it so your theory is actually correct and while there are people who never considered medicine from the start, they are majorly outliers. Insignificant outliers Another reality too is in the recent, more people are beginning to not want medicine mostly because of the rigor and labor to enter but don’t miss it, they like the prestige
Dr. Afo 🩺@Dr_Afo

Because 100% of people in medicine applied for medicine and got it, while half of the student in these other department have once applied for medicine and did not get it.

@Greatlyse_ @_ayobami0260 Do I support the talking bad? No, it gets tiring But do I understand why they talk that way? Yes! Your insufferable seniors want to be everywhere, everything and everyone What are they looking for in MLSCN for example?

@xaviermax111 @Dr_Afo Leave them. Some are saying they had a large number of them who picked it as first choice. First choice after years of chasing MBBS? So laughable.

@GenZ_Surgeon @Dr_Afo True. But, those folks do not want to accept that they're some of them who wanted MBBS badly.

@Greatlyse_ @Dr_Afo No. A lot of people have passion for and chose other courses other than mbbs. While it is a reality that a lot of people settled for their current courses after attempting mbbs,it would be delusional not to admit that a lot also didn't go through that route. Two truths can exist

@Lores_MLT @renestitchess You know it's the truth but, you won't accept. You wanted medicine so bad. Don't lie. I have interacted with some MLS students in my school, only a few of them had MLS as a first choice, while the others only settled after chasing MBBS for at least 2 years.
