@sciencevs By breaking down and normalizing the process as whole culture (not just 'scientists' over there) maybe we address the mistrust. So yeah - you should do a show about that topic and you give both sides opportunity to discuss.

@sciencevs There is a whole group of people who feel that the veil we hold between the discussions in the scientific community and those in the general public in wrong.

@sciencevs But the hosts ended the show essentially either denying that as an honest position, or ridiculing him for having it. I think that's really wrong.

@sciencevs It was clear at the end, when you asked Lee if he felt he had made a mistake, that he had a strong and ideologically based perspective about engaging the public in the scientific process. That is a legitimate and arguable position.
