Ranking them is crazy. I didn't rank Finkbine because it'll be all new in 2027 and might be the #1 course in Iowa at that point. On the private side, I need to see Talons, Beaver Hills and Hyperion but I can't see any of them cracking the top 7. Des Moines' Solheim Routing would be my #4 private.

I’m sorry but making millions being a sideline reporter saying.a few sentences during a 3 hour game complaining about missing a few holidays when there’s a lot of folks with regular jobs missing the same said holidays is nasty

@MidwestGolfJake If one selects Patrick Reed, it would be better on so many levels to pair him with a Tour member instead of Bryson. Keegan probably works best. McN would be my drop - IF I picked PR. IF.

For me, if I felt I had to take Patrick, I'd probably drop Mav McNealy. And I'd make Bryson play with Patrick.

@Herbzimmerman2 @BendelowGreens Sorry, but there is a huge disconnect between the quality of the grass on a range and what a large % of players do during practice. Good grass does not produce good practice routines in all players.

@BendelowGreens Depends what the turf is. I am a 2 and I will do the same thing if you have a grainy/sandy area that should have two more weeks to grow. Get the grass right and nobody does this.

@DonaldH70692840 @Top100Rick He "belonged" over 4 rounds on a challenging course and difficult conditions so much that he came within two rotations of his putt on 18 of winning and ended up beating 142 of the 144 players. Lots of major winners in the 142. Not enough for you? Fine.

The is drone view of JJ Spaun’s shot on the island green is so awesome. A lot of negative stuff has been said about golf broadcasts last few years. But drones have been a huge plus and add so much context. Alas the result of the shot wasn’t so good. 😢

This entire thread from @jamierkennedy is quality golf writing. Everyone is "talking" about the tree. Jamie is actually giving you information about how the players handled it. And how the tree handled them.

@BendelowGreens I've not seen that last photo of 4 and 5 greens previously, Sam. Such a great perspective for both. Thx for sharing all of the photos. We are so fortunate.

I’m slightly biased 😉….but with all the golf I’ve played I’m not sure there’s a better 5 starting green complexes anywhere other than Cedar Rapids CC. They put you on your heels for the rest of the round. #1/2/3 you really can’t miss. If you do, up and down is almost impossible. If you do hit above the hole is really bad. #4 (lower right photo) is underrated IMO, pin placement front left 🔥. #5 (lower right) is huge and the green has almost no tendency..lots of subtle breaks and is one of my favorite par 3’s anywhere.
