It’s my last day at @newsandtribune. Almost four years ago to the day, I felt the rush of seeing my byline for the first time. When they offered me the assignment, I said “no, I don’t know anything about golf.” I’m still not sure why I did that, but I’m glad I called back.

I spoke to referee Danny Crawford a few years about if MJ pushed off in ‘98 & he said you can’t blow a whistle on “what you thought you saw” in real time. “It wasn’t an egregious play where you thought, ‘Oh, no. You can’t do that.’ It was a tough play that could go either way.”
