@PilotPoli I heard the M guys forgot to put the chocks on before the bridge was attached, a few issues there if so, engineer shouldn’t of given thumbs up to bridge driver and even if they did bridge driver should’ve waited for ramp to do that

@kaizi2000 @heidimur For who? The people that already use public transport to get to work anyway. What about the other 60-70% that can’t use public transport to get to BBC work. Maybe put a hold on tolls for the next month as well, that would give relief to the ones that have no choice but to drive.

Ticket gates to be left open at train stations across Victoria for all of April in a taxpayer-funded move to help counter the fuel cost hit to households budgets. It will also push back the trial of bankcard “tap n go” ticketing system. The 6-week trial only started 2 wks ago.

We noted last week that airlines will start shifting capacity to bypass Middle East disruptions. British Airways incredibly quick to act with major network shift extending daily Kuala Lumpur flight to Melbourne! 🔴Not surprised by BA's MEL addition as we've suggested the opportunity before (since QF left MEL-PER-LHR; although now rescheduled from NW26/27) 🔴Challenge for BA is the fleet time as seen by the 10h ground time required to time from/into LHR (same as SYD flight) 🔴Somewhat surprised by KUL as stopover point; probably tells us about relative strength of LHR-KUL O&D market for BA compared to BKK, SIN, HKG, etc

We're starting to see airlines shift to the next phase. Last week we kept using the phrase "if this persists". Well, it's persisting! It won't be mass capacity shifts, but expect to start seeing more of this: 🔴Lufthansa: all indications they're going to shift capacity from cancelled ME flights to bypass ME, adding more direct capacity to Africa & Asia 🔴BA: cancelled Abu Dhabi for the rest of the year, others for rest of the month; expect that capacity to be redeployed to Africa & Asia 🔴Qantas: "we are exploring options to redeploy capacity into Europe on existing routes in the coming months"
