The Democrat frontrunner, @FrancescaHongWI, is pushing a “Hookers’ Bill of Rights” and voted against making child grooming a felony. I’m fighting for a Parents’ Bill of Rights so families know what’s happening in their kids’ schools. That tells you everything you need to know.
The Heartland Post@HeartlandPostWI

Francesca Hong, the leading Democrat candidate for governor, and her Socialist Caucus proposed a bill to legalize prostitution and create a "Hookers' Bill of Rights." ow.ly/AvQT50YyC0b

@druski Despite her being taunted by smaller creators, we share a responsibility to know when something is too far, her husband actually was killed a few months ago. You can go viral with ease but why does it have to be at the cost of a family this time?

I’m really glad you posted this. The biggest regret of my career was not fighting back against this op. In the early days, BuzzFeed was just an aggregator. The editors trained us how to drag and drop content from all over the internet. No regard for copyright or publishing standards. But things change fast. BuzzFeed leaders hung their massive editorial problems around my neck and fired me, all while mass deleting tens of thousands of articles from other BuzzFeed staff who faced zero consequences. They tried to kill my career. It was a lot for a 26 year old to handle. And I almost killed myself. But here’s why I’m writing this today… No matter what you’re facing, no matter how dark or unfair or insurmountable, God’s got you. God created you. God has a purpose for your life. Today, my media business is thriving. We have 17 million subscribers. I love my job and the company we’re building. And none of it would have happened without me being fired from BuzzFeed. Don’t ever give up.

@PaddyMacMke @JamesBohnWI First off perfectly sufficient according to who? Second that $19,000 figure you continue using is not accurate for all districts…not even close. Especially in rural areas.

@Gregory4Justice @JamesBohnWI They don't have to raise their property taxes: $19,000 a kid in existing revenue is perfectly sufficient. Meanwhile, throwing in more money from Madison really means taxing the very same communities harder, just via a more destructive form of tax.

Such nonsense. Local taxes and state taxes come from the same place: the pockets of Wisconsin taxpayers. Shifting costs from one pocket to another doesn't make anything cheaper. The problem is spending.

@JerryPonioWI @GovEvers Jerry, somehow you are dumber than your profile picture lets on. The reason there’s a property tax spike is because of your GOP politician pals in the legislature who are quitting in droves. They refused to boost aid, so instead it falls directly on property taxpayers

Aside from locking down schools and businesses, the 400 year property tax might be @GovEvers biggest blunder. Public opinion on “more funding for schools” hit a low and people are NOT happy about his 400 year property tax increase. This is damage control for democrats.
Heartland Signal@HeartlandSignal

Wisconsin State Sen. @BradPfaffWI (D-Onalaska) blames Republican leadership in the state legislature for property tax increases across the state. "They are cynically defunding schools at the state level, and they are forcing the taxpayers to pick up the check."

@WillFlandersWI So long as Will’s precious religious private schools keep getting more and more public tax dollar checks and not being held to the same standard as public schools, all is well for him and the dark money group that pays his salary.

Discussing the reality of school funding isn’t a “degrowth mindset.” We’d all love to see more growth. But until growth returns, keeping funding flat means more $ per pupil. When the K12 pop is growing again, we can reevaluate.
Dan Shafer@DanRShafer

We should refuse to accept this degrowth mindset, refuse to accept a Wisconsin with "fewer kids to educate." We should be doing more to invest in our future and stop this absurd shell game of shifting the tax burden from the state to already over-burdened local taxpayers.

@bennyjohnson Hey Benny don’t republicans have control of both the house and the senate? If that’s true then why are you saying it’s Democrats who are leading to these TSA issues? Are you gaslighting people and preying on their stupidity that they won’t realize this?

Atlanta TSA line is now drastically better after one day of ICE helping out travelers. More hands make for less work—this proves it. Democrats need to stop handcuffing TSA. Fund DHS and let travelers travel.

@JamesBohnWI Yes! Really listen to the GOP politicians who gaslight routinely and make up a narrative that they provided schools historic amounts of money when in reality they provided no new general aid and much less in special ed than they promised. But they continue to lie, lie, lie.

@JamesBohnWI @PaddyMacMke Not to mention there are billions of dollars sitting in an account that would require no tax increases that a PORTION could simply be given to schools to help meet the need.

@JamesBohnWI @PaddyMacMke This is all such a stupid gaslit argument. You’re asking communities to choose between supporting their local schools and raising their property taxes or not and schools suffering. If the state properly funded schools they wouldn’t have to do that.

@OldAbeBurnerAcc @WillFlandersWI Ahhh, yes. Throw out a bunch of totally made up bullshit, get called out for it for being a bigger dummy than initially let on and then run away. @OldAbeBurnerAcc @WillFlandersWI I’ve got no idea where you are making this stuff up from, but that is yet again completely false. You have a severe misconception of what the word “increase” means and how funding works.

@OldAbeBurnerAcc @WillFlandersWI Ahh, you’re one of those people who will believe anything they tell you. You conveniently left out the fact that for the better part of a decade schools received little to no increase. Easy to increase something when you’re building from nothing!

@OldAbeBurnerAcc @WillFlandersWI That is completely untrue and is a product of the GOP politicians gaslighting you. Special education funding was included for a unique program that is a drop in the bucket and does not apply to all schools.

@bennyjohnson Crazy question here but don’t Republicans hold majorities in both the house and the senate and also have the presidency? If it were Democrats fault, wouldn’t they need to have a majority? This sounds like gaslighting, but Benny would never do that so I don’t agree with that!

I spoke with over a dozen TSA agents today. None of them have been paid in 2 months. Here’s what they told me: “I had to sell my car to pay my mortgage” “I work 12 hour shifts and don’t see my kids. Now I can’t even afford to buy my family dinner.” “I’m going to have to quit this month and find another job.” “My wife had to go back to work” “I can’t afford basic groceries” “I have no more savings left.” “This makes no sense. ICE is funded through 2030. Democrats are just punishing us.” One thing became clear after today: Democrats targeting TSA is morally depraved. It hurts passengers and law enforcement alike. Politicians should NOT be able to destroy innocent people’s lives to score cheap political theater points. Democrats are evil for this. They just want to see Americans suffer to protect illegals and illegal voting.
