Is your stream 18+? I'd love to hear why! My community is all ages on Twitch. When I first started streaming I thought if I can't keep minors safe, I shouldn't be streaming in the first place. So it doesn't matter whether someone is 15 or 18. Nowadays I understand the pain of trying to stay minor-friendly all the time! I still don't think I'd change my stream to be 18+ though.

@MrZing07 Doesn't VR Chat's Creator Companion app support VRM? all the models I upload to VR Chat are VRM 0.0 Files It ends up taking a bit of extra work but for the SFX and some smaller things but Just throw it into blender beforehand and do those tweaks before.

I'mma be so for real y'all, and no shade to the devs, but we need a better default 3D vtuber format, y'all deserve better, there's so much we're limited to in this format. 😢 I know it's designed for simplicity and widespread compatibility but I often feel the cons outweigh the pros in terms of creative freedom. Just my thoughts though, I also figured it'd be good if more vtubers knew the limitations of this file format with it being the number #1 used format in 3D vtubing. This is just me moreso venting lol, there's not a suitable alternative atm that is this widespread yet I'd say.

Note this is not me promoting myself, it's me showing the point of Kaizen with my own example

@Kaizen_3D here is a example, This is my BASIC model Package It's labeled that way because I use Vroid but it's a working model. I only charge $100 for it because it's made with Vroid And cuz I often Offer to show the person how to use Vroid while doing so

Bro what? 🤣 Where is she getting those numbers? There's plenty of good artists out there that charge way less than that. You just have to dig a bit instead of just clicking on the first result. And how can you use the argument of not using premade models because you won't stand out or be unique when the alternative you give is AI? All AI designs looks super generic and uninspired, you won't stand out at all.

@Kaizen_3D even better, If something is wrong with my models Even if they are past the 3 month window I give by default. I fix it FOR FREE

@Krieg_Tortoise Im gonna be honest, While yes the TOS does exist for 90% of the people commissioning art it's never gonna be a problem. The TOS and IP protection stuff is more for Corpos who have already shown they love robbing the lil guys

@GreyFoxbound I will indeed give credit to them, and that's where it stops. Being the law doesn't mean it's correct (unless you want to make a case for legal positivism). Just because I paid for it, doesn't mean others can't download it. Others downloading it doesn't negate my possession.

Unless I'm given a legally binding contract stating that Im only leasing the "intellectual property", I bought it. Its mine. And without that legally binding contract, you'll get nowhere in court. All you're doing with this is making AI a better option, as you own the output.

@TheRavenlly @nekomatasaren and To be frank 90% of Vtubers and CCs the TOS really doesn't affect them, while yes it's IP control and management is more large corpo Protection. Cuz without it a Corp could just steal our artwork without Contributing us to it

@GreyFoxbound @nekomatasaren To be fair, the public shouldn't be doing that. It should be a commonly known thing that being someone's artist doesn't equate to sharing their morals. But for that reason I use only my pfps on X and don't use the ones I comm just in case

@Krieg_Tortoise but what you are purchasing is Digital media? A depiction of a IP that the Artist themself holds the legal side for It's why generally you give Credit to the Artist, because it's their work.

@nekomatasaren @flutterwhat you you behave like shit Steam would just ban your account... meaning you lose access to your library. VAC bans on steam also prevent you from playing on secure Server. We had a issue with it on my DayZ server where people would bitch cuz VACs got them booted

@GreyFoxbound @flutterwhat Yep, buying OC adopts are actually riskier than NFTs and digital games... If it's NFTs, the owners have no way to claw back the purchase unless it's stated early in the smart contract by code. For digital games, Steam won't delete your other games even if you behave like shit

@GreyFoxbound @greatninja321 @nekaishi Well if it's available to see on the internet AI will eventually scrape it up one way or another. Artists should know and expect that. But I think for the case of corporations hiring artists to create artworks IP is actually important.

A lot of artists have unfortunately become greedy, elitist, anti-consumer, and deeply controlling—effectively acting like scammers or even a cartel. People are just sick of it I love great artists. The problem is the bad ones are poisoning the well and making the talented, reasonable ones get lumped in with the hate and vitriol they don’t deserve

@greatninja321 @nekaishi So this is my "Prohibited uses" section Basically everything covered is a "Well if the Vtuber does that It could affect me" so if someone does that i can say "It's against my TOS"
